Despite the heavy rain pouring down, our young people still came. They showed upโ€”not simply to compete, but to learn, connect, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

The Battle of the Brains tested curiosity, critical thinking, and the courage to trust what we know. The Mobile Legends Tournament brought a different kind of challengeโ€”strategy, communication, teamwork, and the discipline to play not only for yourself, but for your team. ๐Ÿง ๐ŸŽฎ

In both arenas, one thing became clear: youth participation is not about having the perfect conditions. It is about making the most of the conditions we have.

This is the heart of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026โ€”creating spaces where young people can discover that their abilities matter, their voices have value, and their presence can contribute to a stronger community.

And in our own small way, we live out the Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 โ€“ Quality Education, by encouraging learning beyond the classroom; SDG 3 โ€“ Good Health and Well-Being, through meaningful recreation and connection; and SDG 16 โ€“ Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, through sportsmanship, respect, fairness, and responsible participation.

The rain was heavy, but the turnout was heavier.
