Matagumpay na isinagawa ang “Training on dried fish, deboning and processing, at Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)” sa pangunguna ng Bangsamoro Agriculture and Fisheries Training Institute (BAFTI) nitong April 20-24, 2026 sa KDT Manor Hotel and Convention Center, Cotabato City.

Layunin ng programang ito na palakasin ang kaalaman at kasanayan ng mga kalahok sa wastong pagproseso ng isda, pagpapabuti ng kalidad ng produkto, at pagsunod sa mga pamantayan ng kalinisan at kaligtasan sa pagkain. Sa pamamagitan nito, mas napapalawak ang oportunidad para sa kabuhayan at napapataas ang antas ng lokal na industriya ng pangingisda.

On behalf of Municipal Officer Engr. Joffel Pompong, the MAFAR-Datu Paglas office participated in the BARMM Hand-in-Hand Provincial Roundtable Discussion held on January 19, 2026, at the Mangroove Resort in Datu Anggal Midtimbang.

Organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the session brought together key regional leaders, including representatives from Maguindanao del Sur, the Office of MP Suharto Ambolodto, and local mayors.

Key Objectives of the Initiative:

1. Investment Planning: Developing data-driven, localized investment strategies.

2. Food Security: Strengthening regional agrifood systems to ensure stable food supplies.

3. Poverty Reduction: Leveraging the FAO Hand-in-Hand Initiative to uplift local communities.

By joining this high-level discussion, the Municipality of Datu Paglas reaffirms its commitment to sustainable agricultural development through evidence-based planning and regional cooperation.
