YOUTH AMBASSADORS SHINE IN MUNICIPAL TOURISM MONTH CELEBRATION!
โDay two of the two-day event went smooth as silk! Gonzagaโs young student ambassadors were on spotlight as Gonzaga Tourism, in collaboration with the MICE Class of 2026 of the CSU-Gonzaga College of Hospitality Management, successfully held the Inter-Secondary Travel Blogging and Virtual Tour Guiding Competitions!
โDuring the travel blogging competition, participants brought their creative storytelling to the digital space, featuring Mt. Cagua as the centerpiece of their travel blogs. Meanwhile, the virtual tour guiding competition showcased breathtaking spots across Cagayan and Gonzaga, highlighting the rich culture, natural beauty, and vibrant festivals of our region.
The stage went as if a showcase of talents rather than a competition as participants enjoyed their performances in relaying their "kuwentong may kuwela" and with such, the theme which is rooted on CAPIA (Creativity, Activity, Partnerships, Innovation, and Aunthenticity manifested beyond expectations today.
โA massive congratulations to all the young ambassadors, organizers, judges, coaches, participants, and student organizers of CHM who made this event a resounding success!
Special thanks to the CSU-Gonzaga Campus Executive Officer, Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr. for always welcoming the Gonzaga Tourism for collaboration endeavors such as this.
To the board of judges for the contested activities: Dr. Jay F. Omotoy, Dr. Khayle G. Agluba, and Madam Alelie Joy S. Paule for your expertise in today's event.
To the participants and coaches who showcased what Gonzaganian talents truly are "nakarimrimat". To all the schools and personnel behind the talented students.
To Dr. Khayle G. Agluba, The CHM College Dean for always opening their doors and extending their assistance in making this collaboration seamless.
To Dr. Shiena Marie R. Gano, the MICE Class Adviser for directing the full show, "as we call it" since we were truly impressed on how professional and skilled our CHM students are in pulling off an event like this.
And to all CHM student-organizers and the whole MICE class of 2026 who worked behind and forefront the scenes. We have seen your efforts and dedication with your tasks and we are proud to have worked alongside skilled students like you.
We are looking forward to doing more collaborations and we are more than ready to bring Gonzaga to greater heights!
