SPIKE AGAINST DRUGS: One-Day League

A day filled with passion, teamwork, and sportsmanship! 💚🏐

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Alfonso successfully conducted the “Spike Against Drugs” One-Day League, an activity that aimed to bring together volleyball enthusiasts while promoting a healthy lifestyle, camaraderie, and a drug-free community.

We are truly grateful to all the players who participated and shared their skills and dedication in making this event meaningful and successful. Special thanks to our guest players from Gregorio del Pilar National High School, as well as the players from Sigay and Banayoyo, for accepting our invitation and joining this celebration of sports and unity. 🙌

Your participation made this program more exciting and memorable for everyone.

This activity was made possible through the efforts and support of our SK Chairman and SK Kagawads who continue to create programs that encourage the youth to engage in positive and productive activities.

Together, let’s continue to promote sports, friendship, and a community free from drugs. 💚

A step towards supporting the dreams and education of our youth! 💚

Last June 26, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Alfonso successfully conducted a Distribution of School Supplies for our dear youth, especially our high school and college students.

This initiative aims to provide support and encouragement to our students as they continue their academic journey. Through this simple gesture, we hope to inspire them to stay motivated, pursue their goals, and value the importance of education. 🎓

This activity was made possible through the dedication and leadership of our SK Chairman and SK Kagawads, with the continuous support of everyone who helped make this program successful.

Together, we continue to build a community that supports and empowers the youth. 💚

LOOK | The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Alfonso conducted a clean-up drive at Abububakar Viewdeck earlier this morning, May 30, 2026, as part of its continuing effort to promote environmental awareness and community responsibility.

The activity involved the collection of plastic bottles, plastic wrappers, and other waste materials scattered around the area. In addition, a compost pit was established to provide visitors with a proper place to dispose of biodegradable waste and help maintain the cleanliness of the viewdeck.

Through this initiative, the SK aims to encourage everyone to practice proper waste disposal and take an active role in protecting the environment. By working together, we can preserve the natural beauty of our community for future generations to enjoy.

“Today’s clean-up is tomorrow’s beautiful view.” 🌿♻️

Special thanks to SBM Hon. Allan Villalobos for sponsoring our drinks for our clean-up drive activity. We also extend our sincere gratitude to our Barangay Captain Hon. Armando Borromeo and SBM Hon. Bobby Rous for their continued support of the Sangguniang Kabataan and its initiatives.
