Happy birthday Mama Ninette!❤️

There are no words enough to thank you for everything you have done for us. You raised three boys with so much patience, strength, love, and sacrifice. You gave us your time, guided us through every stage of life, supported our dreams, and helped shape us into the men we are today.

Now that we are older, I appreciate even more how much of yourself you gave to our family. And even after raising us, you continue to give the same love and care to your grandchildren. You have always been the heart of our family.

The three boys may still argue about who the favorite son is… but judging by this photo, murag ako jud ang naka daog, sorry bros. 😂😘 but one thing we will never argue about is how lucky we are to call you “Our Mom”.

What a blessing to witness such a beautiful destination wedding in Bali.

We are especially grateful to celebrate this day with two people who have been such a blessing to our family. Doc Lloyd has always been there to care for our fur babies Eli and Talia, no matter the hour, patiently reminding us, “Calm down, it’s not an emergency,” even when we thought otherwise. And Doc Keissha has shown the same love and dedication in caring for Pochie and friends.

Today, we celebrate not just our father’s 80th birthday, but a life that has touched countless others.

To us, he has always been our Dad, our protector, our teacher, our greatest example. Every lesson that truly mattered, we learned from him: to work hard, to remain humble, to treat every person with dignity, and to always do what is right, even when it is difficult.

To the people of Cebu City, he was Mayor. But to many, he became much more than that. He led with compassion, listened with sincerity, and served with a genuine love for the people. In many ways, he became a father to the city he loved so dearly.

Of all the lessons he taught me, the one that has guided me throughout my own life in public service is this: public office is never about power or prestige. It is about serving people with integrity, humility, and heart.

Everything I know about public service began with watching him. His example has shaped not only the public servant I strive to be, but more importantly, the person I aspire to become.

Happy 80th Birthday, Dad.

Thank you for your unconditional love, your unwavering faith in us, and a lifetime of selfless service to our family and to Cebu City. We are forever grateful, forever proud, and forever blessed to be your children.

To our father, dad thank you for showing us that true leadership is not measured by position, but by service, character, sacrifice, and the lives you uplift along the way. As a former Mayor of Cebu City, many saw you as a leader. But to us, you were first a father, a provider, protector, and the steady example that shaped who we are today.

You taught us to work hard, remain humble, stand for what is right, and never forget the people we serve. Your life showed us that respect is earned not by authority, but by integrity and compassion.

To my two older brothers, thank you for always standing beside our family with strength, loyalty, and quiet support. Through every season, you helped carry the values our father lived by and became examples in your own right.

Today, we celebrate not only a father, but a legacy.. one built on love, sacrifice, public service, and family.

Thank you for leading by example and for reminding us that the greatest achievement is not success, but raising a family with good hearts and strong values.
