Ariman, Gubat, Sorsogon.

OOA 0046H 12 August 2026, Duty personnel responded immediately on-board the Nissan Ambulance. Upon arrival initial physical assessment was conducted and injuries were noted. The victims were a 19y/o male of Brgy. Buenavista, Gubat, Sorsogon, who suffered lacerations on his right eyebrow and cheek and multiple abrasions on both upper and lower extremities and a 17y/o of Brgy. Paradijon, Gubat, Sorsogon who suffered abrasions on both upper and lower extremities. After assessment, taking vital signs, wound cleaning and bandage has been applied. The victim was then secured and transported by personnel on-duty to Gubat District Hospital and properly endorsed and turned over to Nurse-on Duty. Ambulance and crew were back to Station @ 0123H same date.

Along with SFO1 Despi are the other members of the Joint-Inspection Team comprising representatives from: BPLO, Treasurer's Office, Environment and Natural Resources Office, Sanitary (Health Office), Engineering Office, and Zoning Office. The team conducted inspections at various Food Businesses, and other Establishments at Brgy. Paradijon and Brgy. Panganiban all in the municipality of Gubat, Sorsogon.

By proactively implementing mitigation measures, the government can reduce the impact of these external shocks and maintain the continuous availability of fuel and electricity for households, businesses, industries, transportation, healthcare, and other essential services.

The activity provided an opportunity for our personnel to refresh and enhance their knowledge and practical skills in responding to cardiac arrest, respiratory emergencies, and other life-threatening situations. Through hands-on practice and skills review, participants reinforced the importance of early recognition, effective CPR, proper use of an AED, and coordinated emergency response.

The activity aims to ensure that fire hydrants are operational and capable of providing an adequate water supply during fire emergencies. Through regular testing and close coordination with our water utility partners, we strengthen our preparedness and improve our response capabilities.

Our personnel worked together to ensure that every piece of equipment is clean, functional, accounted for, and ready for immediate deployment whenever an emergency arises. From fire trucks and firefighting tools to rescue gear and other essential equipment, every item was carefully checked and maintained.

The activity concluded with the formal turnover of duties and responsibilities, ensuring a smooth transition and the continuity of public service and operational functions.
