Personnel of Guimba District Jail, together with 14 OLSHCO Criminology Interns, conducted a Supplemental Tree Planting, Tree Aftercare, and Clean-Up Drive at Zone 1, Brgy. Nagpandayan, Guimba, Nueva Ecija.

A total of 20 ๐ฌ๐ž๐ž๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ provided by the barangay were planted, followed by the removal of surrounding weeds and installation of higher tree guards with the support of barangay officials and residents.

The activity also included a clean-up drive, promoting environmental responsibility and community participation.

As we close the month of September, Guimba District Jail conducted a Holy Mass in line with the celebration of Elderly Filipino Week 2026, highlighting the importance of faith, spiritual well-being, and compassion for everyone, especially our elderly PDL.

The Holy Mass was officiated by Rev. Fr. Jordan Avila, who shared the Word of God and imparted meaningful spiritual guidance, strengthening the faith, hope, and inner peace of the PDL.

Guimba District Jail extends its heartfelt appreciation to ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‚๐ฅ๐š๐ข๐ซ๐ž ๐€๐ง๐ง๐ž ๐ƒ๐ž๐œ๐จ and her family for sharing her blessings with the 207 PDL of this unit through a feeding program in celebration of her birthday. The donated meals were distributed with the assistance of the Development Officers of this unit, spreading love, kindness, and compassion inside the facility. Today, Guimba District Jail kicked off the celebration of Elderly Filipino Week 2026 with the theme, โ€œ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ ๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ ๐š ๐š๐ญ ๐ค๐š๐ซ๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐š๐ง, ๐ฆ๐š๐ฒ ๐›๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ญ ๐š๐ฆ๐›๐š๐  ๐ฌ๐š ๐›๐š๐ฒ๐š๐ง.โ€

Led by the Welfare and Development Officers headed by SJO1 Bani Sahr P Pablo, Chief, WD Section, the jail unit conducted the Hanging of Tarpaulin, Pampering of Elderly PDL, Zumba Session, and Feeding Program.

These activities reflect the BJMPโ€™s commitment to caring for everyone, especially our elderly PDL, who deserve extra attention, care, dignity, and respect while in our custody.

Upon the initiative of ๐‰๐‚๐’๐ˆ๐๐ ๐’๐“๐€๐๐‹๐„๐˜ ๐ ๐†๐ˆ๐๐„๐™, ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ญ ๐‰๐š๐ข๐ฅ ๐–๐š๐ซ๐๐ž๐ง, JO1 Ryan Christian Abalos of the Human Resource Development Division (HRDD), BJMP Regional Office III, served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the Coaching and Mentoring on Personnel Monthly Accomplishment Report (PMAR) and Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) held at Guimba District Jail.

The activity focused on strengthening personnel understanding of the SPMS rating scale and proper computation of ratings based on Quantity, Quality, Timeliness, and Efficiency, including the application of prescribed formulas.

Personnel actively participated in the discussion, raised concerns, and sought clarifications on the proper preparation of PMARs and computation of SPMS ratings.

The activity concluded with a reminder to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant preparation and submission of PMARs in accordance with existing BJMP policies and guidelines.
