Another Saturday, another day filled with learning, laughter, and discovery! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ“–

Today, September 19, 2026, our young learners continued their journey through Project BASA Kabataan Year 3 at the 2nd Floor of the Barangay Bulad Hall.

โœจ ๐–๐„๐„๐Š ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐‹๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐“๐’:

๐Ÿ“– Reading Sessions โ€“ Our learners continued practicing their reading skills through guided and one-on-one reading activities.

๐Ÿ“š Storytelling โ€“ Stories brought imagination and excitement into the session while encouraging our learners to listen, understand, and share their ideas.

โž— Mathematics Activities โ€“ Learning math through fun exercises and problem-solving activities made numbers more enjoyable and engaging.

๐Ÿช Snack Time โ€“ After an active morning of learning, our young learners enjoyed snacks as they recharged and prepared for more activities.

๐Ÿค With our dedicated volunteers and SK Officials, Week 2 was once again filled with patience, encouragement, and meaningful moments of learning.

Every page read, every problem solved, and every story shared is another step toward building stronger foundations for our young learners. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ“š

Today, September 12, 2026 8:00 - 11:00 AM, we officially begin another meaningful journey of learning, reading, and discovery through Project BASA Kabataan Year 3! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ“–

Held at the 2nd Floor of the Barangay Bulad Hall, our learning sessions were filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and the joy of learning. Together with our dedicated volunteers and SK Officials, we welcomed our young learners to a fun and engaging learning experience.

โœจ WHAT HAPPENED TODAY?

๐Ÿ“– One-on-One Reading Sessions โ€“ Helping our learners develop their reading skills, comprehension, and confidence through personalized guidance.

โž— Fun Learning & Math Problems โ€“ Making mathematics enjoyable through interactive activities and problem-solving exercises.

๐Ÿ“ Learner Classification โ€“ Identifying the learning needs and levels of our students to provide appropriate support and activities.

๐Ÿ“š Storytelling Session โ€“ Inspiring imagination, creativity, and a love for stories through engaging storytelling.

๐Ÿค A Community Filled with Volunteers & SK Officials โ€“ Our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who shared their time, effort, and passion to make this program possible.

Project BASA Kabataan is more than just reading and solving math problems. It is about creating opportunities, building confidence, and reminding every child that learning can be fun, meaningful, and full of possibilities. ๐ŸŒŸ

Kick-off Program - Coordination Meeting & Turn Over of Reading Corner



The journey of learning continues in Barangay Bulad!

On September 5, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan โ€“ Barangay Bulad officially launched Project BASA Kabataan Year 3 through the turnover of our Reading Corner, in partnership with Project Palabasa.

The activity featured an engaging storytelling session of Alamat ng Ampalaya, followed by group activities that encouraged our young participants to listen, understand, participate, and express their creativity.

A brief orientation and training was also conducted for the assigned caretakers on the proper organization, utilization, and management of the Reading Corner.

Starting this September, Project BASA Kabataan Year 3 will be held every Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the SK Learning Hub/Reading Corner in Barangay Bulad. The sessions will provide children with opportunities to strengthen their reading, writing, comprehension, and basic learning skills in a fun and supportive environment.

The activity was attended by the children of Barangay Bulad, parents and guardians, Barangay Council, and Sangguniang Kabataan officials.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Project Palabasa, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Philippines through the Caring Cup Program, Adarna Group Foundation, Inc., and the UNESCO x SEVENTEEN Going Together Youth Grant Scheme for helping make this Reading Corner possible.

May this space become a place where young minds discover the joy of reading, learning, and dreaming.

Our second Seeds of Reading sprouted at Barangay Bulad today! ๐ŸŒฑ

Project Palabasa successfully launched the second leg of our Reading Corner turnovers at Barangay Bulad today, September 5, 2026.

Our resident storyteller, Eula Pauline Noquilla, read "Alamat ng Ampalaya" by Augie D. Rivera and Kora D. Albano during the program, a legend about how the vegetable ampalaya, or bitter gourd, came to have its bitter taste and wrinkled skin. Listeners were also divided into groups to reenact their favorite scenes from the story and answer questions related to the story.

The storytelling session was then followed by a brief training led by our co-founder, Juliana Rose Pagador, on how to organize, utilize and manage the Reading Corners for the assigned caretakers.

The turnover session was attended by children from Barangay Bulad, the Bulad Barangay Council, and the Sangguniang Kabataan officers of Barangay Bulad.

We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors who made this possible. Thank you very much to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Philippines) () and their Caring Cup program for generously sending bags for the kids who participated. We would also like to thank the Adarna Group Foundation, Inc. () for providing books that will fill our Reading Corner shelves.

Our deepest gratitude as well to the UNESCO x SEVENTEEN Going Together Youth Grant Scheme for making it possible to acquire shelves, mats and other supplies for the Reading Corner.

We hope that through our Reading Corners, this can help sprout a love for reading and learning for readers from all walks of life.
