📍 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗠𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗘 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡♻️

As part of the “Mag SegreGREAT Kita Program,” Barangay Bagumbayan, in partnership with First APO Junkshop and MENRO, successfully conducted a Mobile Junkshop Day, generating nearly Php 5,000.00 worth of recyclable sales from participating residents yesterday.

Residents were happy and encouraged by the program as they were able to earn extra income from recyclable waste materials while promoting proper waste segregation and environmental awareness in the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Council headed by PB Cynthia Soubiron & Kgwd Encanto, our partner First APO Junkshop, and all the residents who actively participated and supported this meaningful initiative.

Together, let us continue working hand in hand for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Guimbal! ♻️

For the month of May, several barangays successfully hauled and sold their recyclable materials in partnership with First APO Junkshop. Participating barangays include Brgy. Nanga, Gotera, Gerona-Gimeno, Bongol San Vicente, Libo-on Gonzales, Cabubugan, and Bagumbayan.

Thank you to all barangay officials, volunteers, and residents for supporting our waste management and environmental programs. 💚

To all Guimbalanons, if you have recyclable materials that you no longer need, you may directly drop them off at your respective Barangay Hall for proper collection and disposal.

Together, let us continue practicing proper waste segregation and environmental responsibility! 🌱♻️

The Office of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources (MENRO) successfully conducted the monthly meeting of Kagawads on Environment. The activity was led by MENRO Samson Gilo Jr., together with SWM Focal Person Orlando Basco Jr. and Ms. Alpha May Giralao. Also present was our Sangguniang Bayan Member, Chairman on Environment, Hon. Lorna Young.

• Implementation of the Mag SegreGREAT Kita Program
• Submission of Reports
• Distribution of T-shirts
• Other matters and concerns

As part of the meeting, Ms. Carren Barameda of Brgy. Libo-on Gonzales shared their barangay’s best practices in the collection of recyclables and proper waste segregation, highlighting effective strategies that promote community participation.

Meanwhile, Ms. Juness Apple Grajales of Brgy. Cabubugan presented their barangay’s successful implementation of the Mobile Junkshop Day, showcasing how the initiative encouraged residents to actively participate in recycling efforts while generating additional income.

The Mobile Junkshop Day was successfully conducted yesterday April 21, 2026 in Barangay Cabasi, bringing recycling services closer to the community.

Residents actively participated by selling their recyclable materials such as plastics, bottles, and metals, turning waste into 💰 extra income while promoting proper waste segregation.

👏 Special thanks to our partner, First Apo Junkshop, the Barangay Cabasi Council, and all the residents for their active support and participation.
