A RETURNING BOOK BORROWER

Former elementary pupil now Grade 7 student, Angel, paid us a visit at our Tempo.L. (Temporary Library) to borrow books for the weekend. Her choice of reading materials? Those published by Adarna House and Tahanan which were brought to us by Miriam College (formerly Maryknoll) thru Lakbay-Kuwentuhan .

Angel was the child inspiration for the establishment of Bahay Kubooks in 2020. Two more pupils from the fourth grade also borrowed several titles for home-reading after filling out the logbook this Friday afternoon.

KUWENTO 05:
"Kayo Ba ang Nanay Ko?"

Hep, hep at hooray para sa Kuwentista Kid na si Devi para sa kanyang storytelling session ng librong "Kayo Ba ang Nanay Ko?" kasama ang mga mag-aaral sa ikatlong baitang ng DepEd Tayo Bololo ES .

Pakatapos mananghalian, diretso sa Bahay Kubooks ang mga bata na excited makinig sa read aloud story gamit ang big book ng Adarna House. Unang beses kasi na kapwa nila estudyante ang nagkondukta ng pagkukwento.

Salamat Miriam College (formerly Maryknoll) at Lakbay-Kuwentuhan para sa donasyong mga libro na aming gamit sa programang ito!

KUWENTO 04:
"Sampung Magkakaibigan"

Pagkatapos ng klase, diretso ang mga batang Grade 5 sa Bahay Kubooks ng DepEd Tayo Bololo ES . Hindi lamang para tumambay, kundi para sa isang sesyon ng kuwentuhan.

Bersyon ng "Sampung Magkakaibigan" ang ibinahagi ni Teacher Kim Oraye sa mga bata na patungkol sa pagkakaroon ng kaibigan at kung paano ang mga ito dapat na tratuhin.

Inilathala ng Adarna House ang 'big book' na ito na handog sa amin ng Miriam College Elementary School Department sa pamamagitan ng Lakbay-Kuwentuhan .

SIMULAN NA ANG KUWENTUHAN!

Kick-starting this 23rd of February is the storytelling program for our school, DepEd Tayo Bololo ES , entitled 'Isandaang Istorya'.

A hundred pupils from Grades 3, 4 and 5 joined the program launching where we had a taste of a read-aloud session of the story 'Si Pilong Patago- tago'. We also discussed the importance of reading and its impact to learners and children.

'Isandaang Istorya' is now officially an addition to our school reading program with a cause of promoting a school and community of readers thru utilizing the 100 books donated by Miriam College (formerly Maryknoll) thru Lakbay-Kuwentuhan .
