Why is education so important?

- Awareness: Education helps us recognize the different forms of abuse – physical, emotional, verbal, financial, and digital. It teaches us the red flags and warning signs.
- Empowerment: Knowledge empowers us to stand up for ourselves and others. It gives us the confidence to say "no" and to seek help when needed.
- Prevention: By understanding the root causes of abuse, we can work to prevent it from happening in the first place. Education can change attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate violence.
- Support: Education equips us with the tools to support survivors of abuse. We learn how to listen, validate their experiences, and connect them with resources.
