The team also conducted monitoring, validation, and assistance activities for ARBOs (Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations) including their visit to Brgy. Trinidad, Tubabao Island.

Empowering communities through skills development and entrepreneurship! 🌊🐟

A 3-Day Skills Training on Sun-Dried Fish Processing with Entrepreneurial Development Training (EDT) on Product Costing, Pricing, Packaging, and Labeling was successfully conducted for the members of the Culasi Women’s Association in Brgy. Culasi, Homonhon Island, Guiuan, Eastern Samar on May 8-10, 2026.

This initiative was implemented through collaborative efforts and support under the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) of Pacific Prime Metals and Resources Inc. (PPMRI), aimed at supporting community capability-building and sustainable livelihood development in the area.

Attended by 17 female members, the activity provided them with hands-on learning and technical knowledge on proper fish processing and value-adding, including the production of plain, marinated, and dried fish tocino variants, through the expertise shared by Resource Person Ms. Shirly C. Ronabio, Business Manager of Maliwaliw Multi-Purpose Association. Participants also gained practical insights on product costing, pricing, packaging, labeling, and digital marketing through the discussions facilitated by NCTSS Anasel D. Padriquez of DTI - Negosyo Center Guiuan, helping improve product quality, market readiness, and potential livelihood opportunities for the association.
