Behind every job application is a dreamโto earn an honest living, support loved ones, or build a better future. Yet traffickers exploit these dreams through fraudulent online job offers and scam operations that turn hope into fear.
For many women and girls, false promises of work, education, or a better life become the very means by which they are trafficked and subjected to sexual exploitation, forced labor, online exploitation, and other forms of abuse. They deserve opportunities that lead to a better futureโnot lives marked by violence and exploitation.
As we observe the ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ด๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ผ๐ป๐, our call grows stronger: let us ensure that no dream is ever used against those who simply seek a better life. Let us stand together to end all forms of human trafficking.
Together with government agencies, civil society organizations, and communities, the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) will continue working to prevent trafficking, protect survivors, and raise awareness so that no one else falls into the hands of traffickers.
