The activity aimed to ensure the safety and orderliness of the area during the local observance. The team’s presence exemplifies the unit’s unwavering commitment to peace, discipline, and public service—standing firm in their mission to serve the people and secure the community.

Participation in Gumaca Foundation Day 2024 and Grand Civic Parade

On 120700 November 2024, Enlisted Personnel of the 404th RRIBn Alpha Company Gumaca Detachment, participated the Grand Civic Parade within Gumaca Town Proper in commemoration its 442nd Gumaca Foundation Day together with various agencies, departments, different organizations, schools, and employees, spearheaded by Hon. Webster D Letargo, Municipal Mayor.

The participation of the reservist personnel's cannot be overstated. It embody the values of patriotism, community service, and readiness to serve. Their presence demonstrates love and support for the community, showcasing the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the commitment to national development and security.

We take pride in our reservist personnel's dedication to serving the nation and community. Their involvement in this event reflects the Philippine Army Reserve Command's mission to provide support during emergencies and initiate humanitarian causes.

The Army Reservists of Alpha Company, Gumaca Detachment, has shown extraordinary dedication and compassion, in the face of Typhoon Pepito. These reservists exemplified the core values of selflessness and resilience, as they joined the Humanitarian and Disaster Response (HADR) team to provide critical assistance to affected communities.

In times of disaster, it is easy to overlook the commitment of the ready reserve forces, but these soldiers put their training into action, demonstrating that they are more than just part-time servicemen—they are vital contributors to disaster response. Their swift mobilization, courage, and readiness to serve in the most difficult conditions reflect a deep commitment to their fellow citizens.

Their efforts range from conducting packing and delivering relief goods, and assisting with the restoration of essential services. By responding promptly and with a focus on the welfare of the people, they have truly embodied the spirit of "bayanihan," or communal unity and cooperation.

The Alpha Company reservists of Gumaca Detachment remind us of the untold sacrifices and unwavering commitment of the reserve forces, who are always ready to serve, protect, and help rebuild lives in times of crisis. Their actions go beyond duty—they are a testament to the kindness and strength that lie within every member of the Ready Reserve.
