To capacitate personnel involved in land surveying and parcelization, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Quezon II, headed by PARPO II Ma. Gemma A. Esguerra, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON, led by Engr. Edgar Barraca, teamed up for a Practical Session on Survey Return Evaluation on September 2-4, 2026.

The collaboration aims to ensure that every detail in survey returns is accurate, complete, and compliant with the required standards. Through the hands-on session, DAR personnel were given the opportunity to enhance their skills in the proper evaluation and checking of survey returns and other land survey documents.

In addition, the activity is expected to help accelerate the process of land surveying and parcelization by strengthening the technical knowledge and capabilities of personnel involved in the process.

Sa paggunita natin sa mga bayaning nagbuwis ng buhay para sa kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon, buong-pusong nagbibigay-pugay ang DAR Quezon II sa kanilang tapang, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan. Patuloy nating isusulong ang repormang pang-agraryo bilang pagkilala at paglilingkod sa ating mga makabagong bayani, ang ating mga magsasaka.

Pagpupugay kina alias Laong Laan, Dimasalang,Plaridel, at Diego Laura. Gumamit man ng ibang pangalan, ngunit sa likod ng mga pangalang ito ay mga tunay na Pilipinong naglingkod, naglakas-loob, at lumaban para sa kalayaan at dangal ng ating bayan.

Mula sa mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay noon hanggang sa mga magsasakang patuloy na nagsusumikap ngayon, buhay ang diwa ng paglilingkod, katapangan, at pagmamahal sa Pilipinas.

Catanauan, Quezon โ€“ The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Quezon II Provincial Office, together with the San Vicente Kaunlaran ARBs Farmers Organization Inc., recently conducted a project launch of the Ginger Salabat under the Village Level Farm-Focused Enterprise Development (VLFED) on August 18.

The VLFED is a key-program of DAR which aims to strengthen agrarian cooperatives by providing technical and financial assistance in order to turn raw agricultural resources into highly competitive value-added products. It is a two-year implementation program in which Year 1 focuses on Infrastructure and Facility Establishment while the second year is on capacity building and market integration.

The San Vicente Kaunlaran ARBs Farmers Organization Inc. was chosen as the beneficiary under DAR Quezon II. Under this project, they have received processing tools and equipment which has helped them in their ginger salabat production. Currently, they are on its second year of implementation.

In a message by OIC-PARPO II Ma. Gemma A. Esguerra, she emphasized on the importance of business ventures in agrarian organizations to uplift their livelihood.

โ€œSa kasalukuyan ay nasa year 2 na ang implementation nitong makabuluhang programa. Ang VLFED ay makakatulong sa pagpapalakas ng samahan, pagpapaunlad ng kabuhayan at upang mapigilan ang mga magsasaka na ibenta ang mga inaward na lupaโ€ PARPO Esguerra expressed in her message.

In this government project, DAR has also collaborated with government agencies, such as Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Local Government Unit of Catanauan (LGU), for the packaging, labeling and product development of the ginger salabat.

Meanwhile, OIC-PARPO I Engr. Marvin C. Labao congratulated the ARBs for the launch of the ginger salabat. He hopes that this project will be profitable and help propel the organization to further heights.

The LGU Catanauan, headed by Municipal Mayor Atty. Ramon Orfanel, has also expressed their gratitude to DAR for their programs to help the Catanauan Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries. Through Municipal Administrator Juan Casal, they pledge to continue their utmost support for the successful implementation of the project.

The San Vicente Kaunlaran ARBs Farmers Organization are now gearing up for the promotion and further development of the product. Under Year 2 of the VLFED, the ARBO will be preparing for the FDA-LTO Accreditation which will help them market, distribute and sell the ginger salabat in the country.

President Albino Recto expressed his gratitude to DAR and all agencies who has provided their utmost support to the organization. He believes that this will open doors to a brighter future for the ARBO.

The VLFED project is a testament to the continuous efforts of DAR in providing a better and brighter future to our agrarian beneficiaries.

Ang Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Quezon II, ay patuloy na isinasabuhay ang diwa ng kaniyang paglilingkodโ€”sa pamamagitan ng pagtataguyod ng katarungang panlipunan, seguridad sa lupa, at mas maunlad na buhay para sa ating mga magsasaka.

MULANAY, QUEZON โ€” The Department of Agrarian Reform CALABARZON, headed by Regional Director Cupido Gerry D. Asuncion, has pledged its support during the multi-agency launching of the the Mt. Kamhantik Archaeo-Ecological Tourism Site at the Municipal Covered Court in Barangay Poblacion I.

Represented by OIC-Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II (OIC-PARPO II) Ma. Gemma A. Esguerra, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), together with other national agencies such as DA, DENR, and DILG, is taking an active role in this Convergence Area Development Plan in uplifting the local farming sector while preserving Mulanay's cultural and natural heritage within the Buenavista Protected Landscape.

The launching of the tourism site conv, as part of the Buenavista Protected Landscape (BPL), aims to protect, conserve and promote sustainable, use of ecosystems, manage forest sustainability, and enhance biodiversity, conserve of promote archaeological site within the BPL, become a center of research studies and ensure the safety and security of the BPL.

As part of the major intervention programs under the newly launched Convergence Area Development Plan, the DAR is specifically tasked with facilitating possible land conversion processes to accommodate site developments, eco-trails, and tourism infrastructure without compromising the integrity of surrounding agricultural lands.

PARPO Esguerra, together with OIC-PARPO I Engr. Marvin C. Labao, has also signed in the pledge of commitment to reaffirm the utmost support of the agency towards building a sustainable, inclusive and resilient rural community in Mulanay, Quezon.

This participation demonstrates DARโ€™s commitment in empowering Local Government Units (LGUs) through continuous and necessary support driven towards agrarian community development.

Sa pangunguna ni OIC-PARPO I Engr. Marvin C. Labao, sinuri ang kasalukuyang kondisyon ng kalsada at tiniyak na sumusunod ito sa itinakdang pamantayan ng konstruksyon at teknikal na disenyo. Sa pamamagitan ng isinagawang inspeksyon, natukoy rin ang ilang bahagi ng proyekto na nangangailangan ng agarang aksyon upang matiyak na magiging matibay at maayos ang pagkakagawa ng kalsada.

Matapos ang inspeksyon, nagsagawa rin ng pagpupulong ang DAR Quezon II at ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Narciso upang talakayin ang mga naging obserbasyon sa isinagawang inspeksyon. Napag-usapan din ang pagsasagawa ng pagsasanay ukol sa maintenance and sustainability ng Farm-to-Market Road upang matiyak ang maayos na pangangalaga at pangmatagalang pakinabang ng proyekto.

Nagpahayag naman ng pasasalamat ang DAR Quezon II sa Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Narciso sa patuloy nitong pakikipagtulungan upang matiyak ang maayos na pagpapatupad ng proyekto. Sa pamamagitan nito, inaasahang mapabubuti ang akses sa transportasyon at kabuhayan ng mga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) at iba pang mga magsasaka sa nasabing lugar.
