Representatives of CitySavings Bank paid a courtesy call to Mayor Junjun L. Pacificador at the Municipal Hall, where they presented the bankโ€™s services and discussed possible assistance and financial solutions that may be offered to the Local Government Unit.

The visit provided an opportunity for the bankโ€™s representatives to introduce their services and explore ways they may support the LGUโ€™s financial needs.

A total of 638 initial beneficiaries received 10 kilograms of rice each under the Assistance to Indigent Individuals or Families โ€“ Food Assistance (AIIF-FA) Rice Distribution Project, utilizing the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) allocation provided to our LGU.

We used our LGSF allocation to procure the rice from the Hamtic Multi-Purpose Cooperative, which was distributed through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (Mswdo Hamtic). A total of 3,132 beneficiaries from poor and near-poor households have been identified for the project based on the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), with succeeding distributions to cover the remaining beneficiaries.

Mayor Junjun L. Pacificador expressed his commitment to ensuring that available government resources are directed toward programs that provide meaningful assistance to families in need. He also expressed his appreciation to President Bongbong Marcos for the continued support to local government units through the LGSF, which enables LGUs to implement programs responsive to the needs of their communities and provide assistance to families in need.

The ceremonial distribution was attended by Municipal Administrator Atty. John Nuรฑez, Hamtic Multi-Purpose Cooperative General Manager Mrs. Sony Dolendo, and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Mrs. Floreza M. Mercado.

The people of Hamtic join the Filipino nation in mourning the passing of former Prime Minister Cesar Enrique Aguinaldo Virata. A distinguished public servant, PM Virata served as Secretary of Finance from 1970 to 1978 and as Finance Minister from 1978 to 1986. He also served as the countryโ€™s Prime Minister from 1981 to 1986.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and all those who mourn his passing. May his years of public service and contributions to the nation be remembered with respect and gratitude. May he rest in peace.

The national gathering brought together municipal leaders under the theme "Building Responsive and Future-Ready Municipalities Through Convergence, Collaboration, and Regional Integration" to address key governance issues, culminating in a Governor's Night hosted by Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda.
