Habang naghihintay sa pagbabakuna, nagsagawa ang ating Barangay Health Team ng isang makabuluhang Health Awareness Program na naglalayong palawakin ang kaalaman ng ating mga residente tungkol sa iba’t ibang programang pangkalusugan. Tinalakay dito ang mga mahahalagang impormasyon tungkol sa dengue prevention, anti-rabies awareness, tuberculosis (TB) control, blood donation program, at National Immunization Program (NIP). Kasama rin sa diskusyon ang kahalagahan ng family planning at proper breastfeeding bilang gabay sa mas malusog na pamilya at mas maayos na kalusugan ng ina at anak. Sa pamamagitan ng aktibidad na ito, naipakita ang patuloy na pagsusumikap ng ating barangay health workers at midwife na mapalakas ang kamalayan ng komunidad sa pag-iwas sa sakit at pagpapanatili ng malusog na pamumuhay.

2nd Batch Seminar and Orientation on Anti-Smoking and Anti-Illegal Drugs for SK Scholar Beneficiaries
The 2nd Batch of SK Scholar Beneficiaries actively participated in a Seminar and Orientation on Anti-Smoking and Anti-Illegal Drugs aimed at promoting a healthy, safe, and drug-free lifestyle among the youth. The activity provided important information on the harmful effects of smoking, va**ng, and illegal drug use on an individual's physical, mental, and social well-being. Participants were educated on the dangers of substance abuse, the legal consequences of drug-related activities, and the importance of making responsible decisions. The seminar also encouraged the scholars to become positive role models in the community by advocating for healthy living and staying away from harmful vices. Through this initiative, the SK continues to empower young people with knowledge and awareness, helping them build a brighter and more productive future.

1st Batch Seminar and Orientation on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) for SK Scholars
The 1st Batch of SK Scholar Beneficiaries successfully participated in a Seminar and Orientation on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) conducted to enhance their awareness and understanding of kidney health. The activity provided valuable information on the causes, risk factors, signs and symptoms, prevention, and proper management of CKD. Participants were encouraged to adopt healthy lifestyle practices such as proper nutrition, adequate hydration, regular physical activity, and routine medical check-ups to help prevent kidney-related diseases. The seminar also served as a platform for learning and discussion, allowing scholars to gain knowledge that will help them make informed health decisions. Through this initiative, the SK continues to promote health education and the overall well-being of its scholar beneficiaries.
