On August 9, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Hijo conducted its 8th Regular Session at the Barangay Hijo Session Hall, headed by Hon. Edrian Lloyd Celmar. The session provided an avenue for the SK Council to discuss important matters concerning the youth and to strengthen coordination in carrying out its responsibilities and programs.

The council continues to uphold responsible leadership, teamwork, and commitment in serving the young people of Barangay Hijo. Through regular sessions and meaningful discussions, the Sangguniang Kabataan remains dedicated to addressing the needs of the youth and supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of the community.

On July 12, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Hijo successfully conducted its 7th Regular Session at the Barangay Hijo Session Hall, headed by Hon. Edrian Lloyd Celmar. The meeting served as an opportunity for the SK Council to strengthen teamwork, discuss matters concerning the youth, and ensure the continuous delivery of effective and responsive public service.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Hijo successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly on May 06, 2026, at the Barangay Hijo Mini Multipurpose Gym, Purok 3. The assembly brought together members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan from different puroks to receive updates on the council's ongoing programs, accomplishments, and upcoming initiatives while promoting transparency, active participation, and youth engagement in community development.

The activity also served as an opportunity for KK members to share their ideas, voice their concerns, and participate in discussions that will help shape future youth programs in the barangay. The assembly concluded with renewed enthusiasm and a shared commitment to strengthening youth leadership and fostering a more active and empowered Katipunan ng Kabataan in Barangay Hijo.
