Hilongos, Leyte — August 4, 2026 — Personnel of the Hilongos Fire Station, under the supervision of FINSP STEPHEN DAVE L SOCONG, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted an Operational Preparedness and Refresher Course on Firefighting to enhance the knowledge, skills, and readiness of all personnel in responding to fire and other emergency incidents.

GUIDANCE ON PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT, ETHICAL STANDARDS, AND INTERACTION WITH OJT STUDENTS

Hilongos, Leyte — August 3, 2026 — In line with the Bureau of Fire Protection's commitment to uphold professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards, FINSP STEPHEN DAVE L SOCONG, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal of Hilongos Fire Station, conducted a dissemination of the memorandum entitled "Guidance on Professional Conduct, Ethical Standards, and Interaction with On-the-Job Training (OJT) Students from Affiliated Educational Institutions."

The activity emphasized the importance of maintaining professional boundaries, observing ethical conduct, and fostering a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment for OJT students. Personnel were reminded to strictly adhere to the provisions of Republic Act No. 6713, existing CSC, DILG, and BFP policies, and the Memorandum of Agreement with affiliated educational institutions to ensure that trainees receive proper supervision, guidance, and meaningful learning experiences throughout their internship. TRADITIONAL MONDAY FLAG RAISING CEREMONY
