Election season is coming, and with it comes the responsibility to vote for those who deserve to be in position.
Have you ever asked yourself, “Ano ang dapat ko pangitaon sa akon pillion nga kandidato?” If you haven’t decided on whom to vote for yet, then here are three characteristics you may want to consider when choosing: sincero, tampad, kag wala pinilian.
In the world today, having someone whose sincerity can be found in their desire to work is vital. As they always say, actions speak louder than words. Therefore, you must choose someone who will sincerely turn their promises into actions—someone who isn’t all-talk and knows how to actually act. After all, ang pagboto sang sincero nga kandidato ay para sa ikaayo sang tanan nga taho.
Pero diba importante man nga tampad ang botohon? The answer is an absolute YES. Imagine a world full of lies—of a world with leaders who hide the truth from the people. For years we have seen politicians who abuse their power and maybe it’s time that we’ve finally had enough. It’s a scary world out there, so dapat magboto sa tampad nga kandidato.
Lastly, a leader should be someone who will serve ALL citizens regardless of gender, age, status, or race. In order for a society to prosper, inclusivity must be practiced at all time. This is why you must vote for a candidate nga wala pinilian. Sino Kaman, dapat ang politiko pare-parehas ang panulokan sa tanan.
