The 542nd Engineer (PATHFINDER) Battalion, 53rd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, under the leadership of ๐๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐๐ซ ๐. ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ก๐จ, through its representative, Captain Alex Q. Fernandez, actively participated in the Joint City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) and City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) Meeting held on ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, City Hall, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The meeting was presided over by Hon. Benjie M. Miranda, City Mayor and CPOC/CADAC Chairman, and represented by Hon. Rico M. Regalia, Sangguniang Panlungsod Member. The gathering brought together concerned government agencies and stakeholders to discuss peace and order concerns, anti-drug initiatives, and other matters affecting the safety, security, and welfare of the community.
The participation of the unit underscores its continued commitment to supporting local government efforts and strengthening inter-agency coordination in maintaining peace, order, and a safe community. Through active engagement in local peace and security mechanisms, the Battalion remains steadfast in its role as a reliable partner in promoting resilient and peaceful communities.
The unit continues to build not only roads and structures, but also stronger partnerships and safer communities through sustained cooperation with government agencies and stakeholders.
