The 542nd Engineer Construction "Pathfinder" Battalion is an engineer unit under 53rd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army stationed at Sitio Tuyuman, Barangay Caradio-an, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental. This unit is responsible for extending general engineering support to both military units and local government units in the area of responsibility: whole Island of Negros Island and Siquijor. Thi

s unit is also capable of any Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response for the safety of the people here in the area. Anyone can reach this unit via sending us your letter request via email or hand it over in our headquarters. You may also reach us via phone number stated in our infos if you wish to coordinate first for the availability before sending us your letter request, and we will definitely do our best to address your request with the best of our ability as long as it is within our capacity. The 542nd Engineer (PATHFINDER) Battalion, 53rd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, under the leadership of ๐‹๐ข๐ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐š๐ง๐ญ ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฅ ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ ๐ƒ. ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐š๐œ๐ก๐จ, through its representative, Captain Alex Q. Fernandez, actively participated in the Joint City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) and City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) Meeting held on ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, City Hall, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

The meeting was presided over by Hon. Benjie M. Miranda, City Mayor and CPOC/CADAC Chairman, and represented by Hon. Rico M. Regalia, Sangguniang Panlungsod Member. The gathering brought together concerned government agencies and stakeholders to discuss peace and order concerns, anti-drug initiatives, and other matters affecting the safety, security, and welfare of the community.

The participation of the unit underscores its continued commitment to supporting local government efforts and strengthening inter-agency coordination in maintaining peace, order, and a safe community. Through active engagement in local peace and security mechanisms, the Battalion remains steadfast in its role as a reliable partner in promoting resilient and peaceful communities.

The unit continues to build not only roads and structures, but also stronger partnerships and safer communities through sustained cooperation with government agencies and stakeholders.

Caradio-an, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, on ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”.

The activity was participated in by representatives from the CENRO Kabankalan, BJMP Kabankalan, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Himamaylan, Philippine National Police (PNP) Himamaylan, Provincial Environment Management Office (PEMO), GBX Pharmacy, and City Health Office Himamaylan, who joined the unit in promoting environmental conservation and community involvement. A total of 300 seedlings were planted within the designated areas of the Battalion Headquarters.

The activity highlighted the 542nd Engineer Battalionโ€™s commitment to environmental stewardship and strengthened its collaboration with government agencies, law enforcement and emergency response units, private stakeholders, and other partner organizations in promoting sustainable environmental practices and community participation.

Through this initiative, the unit reaffirmed its support for environmental protection while fostering stronger partnerships and collective responsibility toward a greener and more sustainable community.
