Pagpupugay sa mga Katutubong Pamayanan

Tuwing Oktubre ating ginugunita ang National Indigenous Peoples Month bilang pagkilala sa yaman ng kultura at karapatan ng ating mga Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs) at Indigenous Peoples (IPs). Sa patuloy na pagmamahal ng ating mahal na Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr at ni PGDH PHO II Dr Noel C Bueno na may pangunahing layunin ang ating programa sa IP Health na tumutugon sa:
1. Culture-Sensitive Approach:
Pagsasama ng kaalamang katutubo, tradisyon, at LEARN method sa serbisyong pangkalusugan.
2. Barrier Reduction: Pagbawas sa mga hadlang sa access, lalo na sa GIDA areas.
3. Universal Health Care: Pag-align ng mga programa upang matulungan ang mga pinaka-marginalized na pamayanan.

Pamamahala at Implementasyon:
1. Inter-Agency Collaboration: Pagtutulungan ng DOH, NCIP, at DILG upang maisakatuparan ang polisiya.
2. Local Government Role: Pagbuo ng mga komite at pagbibigay ng boses sa IPMRs sa mga Local Health Boards.
3. Service Delivery: Pag-upgrade ng mga pasilidad sa liblib na lugar, pag-deploy ng indigenous health workers, at awtomatikong PhilHealth enrollment para sa mga IP.

At bilang pagtugon sa DOH NCIP DILG JMC No. 2013-01 ay patunay na ang kalusugan ay karapatan ng lahat — at dapat itong maihatid sa paraang makatao, makakultura, at makatarungan.

FUNCTIONALITY ASSESSMENT 2026

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapalakas ng serbisyong pangkalusugan sa Zambales, isinagawa ang Functionality Assessment noong Oktubre 5 at 7, 2026 sa mga sumusunod na pasilidad pangkalusugan:

RHU Subic
Super RHU Castillejos
SMDH
DFCDMH

Layunin ng assessment na suriin ang kahandaan, kakayahan, at pagsunod ng mga pasilidad sa mga pamantayan upang matiyak ang ligtas, maayos, at de-kalidad na serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa bawat Zambaleño.

Patuloy ang ating pagsisikap na mapahusay ang mga pasilidad at mapalakas ang sistema ng kalusugan tungo sa mas episyente, accessible, at de-kalidad na serbisyong medikal para sa lahat.

Under the steadfast leadership of the Provincial Government of Zambales, through our dedicated Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr. and the guidance of Provincial Health Officer II Dr. Noel C. Bueno, a meaningful two-day National Immunization Program (NIP) Refresher Training was successfully conducted with our passionate doctors, nurses, and midwives across Zambales and Olongapo City!

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Provincial Health Office of Zambales – Health Promotion Unit, PDOHO Zambales at DOH CLCHD ang Training and Orientation on the Implementation of Community Playbook PA7 “Juana Be Wais” – Violence and Injury Prevention noong October 6–7, 2026 sa Funtasea Hotel, Iba, Zambales.

Layunin ng training na palakasin ang kaalaman, kasanayan, at koordinasyon ng mga lokal na stakeholders sa pag-iwas sa karahasan at pinsala, kabilang ang pagtugon sa VAWC.

Ang aktibidad ay pinangunahan ni Dr. Noel C. Bueno, Provincial Health Officer II, sa suporta ni Hon. Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr., Governor of Zambales para sa patuloy na pangangalaga sa karapatan ng mga kababaihan.
