In preparation for the upcoming transition, all outgoing Barangay and SK officials are reminded to conduct a proper inventory of Barangay and SK properties, financial records, documents, and accountabilities before the end of their term.

All items shall be properly documented and formally turned over to the incoming officials to ensure a smooth, transparent, and accountable transition of leadership.

The Municipal Government of Ibajay, through the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist, will conduct Agrikultura sa Baryo – Medical Services for large and small ruminants in Barangay Unat, Ibajay, Aklan, on September 23, 2026, at 8:00 AM. The activity will provide deworming and vitamin supplementation services for carabaos, cattle, and goats belonging to local farmers. In support of this activity, the Barangay Government of Unat is requested to assist in coordinating the program and informing all concerned farmers to bring their animals to the designated site. This initiative aims to help promote the health, productivity, and welfare of livestock in the community. We encourage all livestock owners to participate and take advantage of this free agricultural and veterinary service.

The Department of Agriculture Western Visayas through the Registry System for Basic Sector in Agriculture (RSBSA) together with the Rice Program in Collaboration with the Local Government Units of Ibajay through the office of the Municipal Agriculturist conducted Orientation to Farmers with Geotagged Ricefarms and Administer RSBSA Slip Forms to ensure the accuracy and completeness of Farmer information.

In behalf of Sangguniang Barangay of Unat, Ibajay, Aklan, under the Leadership of Punong Barangay ELIDIE S. TUMBOKON we are honored to announce the five (5) beneficiaries of the Presidential Scholarship Program under the Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program, who will each received ₱20,000.00 educational assistance.

2. KRISTINE M. RACASAG - 4th year (Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at Aklan State University - Ibajay Campus)

‎To ensure transparency and public trust, the selection process was conducted with fairness and integrity. Ang pagpili po ng mga benipisyaryo wala po ginbase sa personal na koneksyon, political affiliation, ukon relasyon sa bisan sin-o nga barangay official. Wala sang ginpaboran, wala sang ginpalabi, kag wala sang ginpasulod nga personal nga interest sa bilog nga proseso.

‎As part of the selection process, each beneficiary was carefully evaluated through document verification, validation, personal interview, financial assessment, and deliberation by the screening committee, gin sunod ang qualification and guidelines halin sa Presidential Scholarship

‎We understand that not everyone could be accommodated, as only five (5) slots were available. Sa mga wala napili, Padayon lang sa pagpaninguha kag pagtuon. We hope that more opportunities will come your way.

‎Congratulations once again to our Presidential Scholarship beneficiaries. May this scholarship inspire you to continue excelling in your studies, uphold the values of responsibility and integrity, and become instruments of positive change in our community.

‎The Brgy. Officials will remain committed to supporting programs and initiatives that create more educational opportunities for the youth. We hope that, in the future, more students will also be given the chance to benefit from similar programs.
