To foster gender equality, empower pupils to challenge stereotypes, and honor the contributions of women in history and society, Monlaque Elementary School celebrated National Womenโ€™s Month 2026 with the theme, โ€œWE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society," on March 10, 2026.

The event was graced by Mrs. Maria Jave C. Sitjar, who inspired everyone with her powerful story of resilience and perseverance as a woman. Furtherly enriching the event was Mrs. Jennifer C. Pines, SPTA President, who emphasized the importance of women in education and community. Mr. Ulysis O. Ambucay, Jr., Head Teacher III, also shared a message, highlighting the vital role of women in society. Hon. Junrey G. Italia, Barangay Captain, served as the Inducting Officer during the Induction of the Newly Elected SELG Officers for the S.Y. 2026โ€“2027. ๐Ÿ’Ÿ

The celebration was spearheaded by Mrs. Venus A. Consemino, School GAD Coordinator.
