🌿✨ Community Clean-Up Drive: A Step Towards a Greener, Stronger Ba-ang! ✨🌿

Today, May 8, 2026, a remarkable initiative unfolded in the heart of Ifugao — a community clean-up drive that brought together the dedicated R-PSB team of 1501stMC RMFB15 Under the vigilant supervision of PCPT LEO Q PABLO together with 1st IPMFC, barangay officials, and passionate volunteers from Brgy. Ba-ang, Hungduan. The leadership of Barangay Captain Evangeline G. Pelagio, this event was more than just a clean-up; it was a powerful expression of community spirit and environmental stewardship.

Starting at around 9:00 PM, the team and volunteers rolled up their sleeves and worked tirelessly from Sitio Kihdog to Sitio Bannawol, transforming these areas through collective effort. This clean-up drive was designed not only to improve the physical environment by removing waste and debris but also to foster a sense of unity and shared responsibility among the residents.

🌟 Strengthening Community Bonds Through Service and Cooperation 🌟

On the morning of May 8, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM, a remarkable display of unity and cooperation took place in the peaceful barangay of Kihdog, Baang, Hungduan, Ifugao. The RPSB Team of the RMFB 15, alongside the 1501st Maneuver Company under the supervision of PCPT LEO Q PABLO together with 1st IPMFC, joined hands with Barangay Officials and committed community volunteers to carry out an important community service activity.

The group worked diligently to haul stones intended for the riprap project of Mr. Moreno Dulnuan, a valued resident of the area. Riprap, a form of stone reinforcement, is essential in protecting the land from erosion and preserving the safety and stability of the community’s environment. This project not only benefits Mr. Dulnuan but also contributes to the overall resilience of the barangay’s infrastructure.

This initiative exemplifies the spirit of bayanihan — the Filipino tradition of communal unity and cooperation. It highlights the strong partnership between the police force and the community, built on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to improving the lives of residents.

At around 9:00 AM today, the dedicated team from the Revitalized Pulis Sa Barangay (RPSB) of the 1501st Maneuver Company, under the capable supervision of PCPT LEO Q PABLO, actively participated in an important community event and also provided essential police assistance and maintained a visible police presence throughout the Barangay Nutrition Monitoring activity at Barangay Ba-ang, Hungduan, Ifugao.

This event was conducted by the Municipal Nutrition Monitoring Evaluation Team, which is composed of key local government and health agencies including the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO). Their collaborative efforts aim to ensure the well-being and nutritional status of the barangay residents are closely monitored and addressed.

The presence of the RPSB teams not only helped in maintaining order and security during the monitoring activities but also demonstrated the police force’s commitment to supporting community health initiatives. This partnership between law enforcement and local government units highlights the importance of multi-sectoral cooperation in promoting public health and safety.

Together, through coordinated efforts and shared responsibility, we continue to work towards a healthier and safer community for all.

At 9:00 AM today, the RPSB team of the 1501st MC, under the supervision of PCPT LEO Q PABLO, together with the RPSB team of the 1st IPMFC, provided police assistance and area security during the re-geotagging of portable water sources, tapstands, existing tanks, and distribution tanks in Barangay Baang, Hungduan, Ifugao.

This activity, led by the Philippine Rural Development Plan (PRDP), aims to ensure the safety and security of all involved throughout the entire process.

We remain committed to supporting community development while maintaining peace and order.

Naging matagumpay ang isang araw na anti-illegal drug operations na isinagawa ng Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR), matapos makumpiska ang PhP1,339,072.00 na halaga ng ilegal na droga at maaresto ang isang drug personality sa Benguet at Baguio City, noong ika-4 ng Mayo, 2026.

Batay sa ulat mula sa Regional Operations Division ng PRO CAR, 4,200 fully grown ma*****na plants at 4,115 grams na dried ma*****na stalks, leaves, at fruiting tops na may Standard Drug Price (SDP) na Php1,333,800.00 ang nadiskubre ng pinagsanib pwersa ng mga operatiba mula sa Kapangan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Kibungan MPS, 1st at 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Companies (PMFCs), Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) at Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) ng Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO), Provincial Intelligence Team Benguet, Regional Intelligence Unit 14, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15), PNP Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit CAR at ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency CAR (PDEA CAR) sa dalawang plantasyon sa Brgy. Sagubo, Kapangan at Brgy. Badeo, Kibungan, Benguet.

Ang lahat ng natuklasang ma*****na ay agad na binunot at sinunog matapos maisagawa ang kaukulang dokumentasyon, habang nagpapatuloy ang imbestigasyon upang matukoy at mapanagot ang mga indibidwal na sangkot sa pagtatanim nito.

Samantala, isang 25 anyos na lalaki na naitala bilang Street Level Individual, ang nahuli sa buy-bust operation na isinagawa ng PDEU, PIU, La Trinidad MPS, at 2nd Benguet PMFC sa ng Benguet PPO. Naaresto ang suspek matapos niyang ibenta ng isang plastic sachet ng pinaghihinalaang shabu na may bigat na 0.51 gram at may SDP na PhP3,468.00 sa operatiba na nagpanggap bilang poseur buyer at makumpiska ang isa pang plastic sachet ng pinaghihinalaang shabu na may bigat na 0.23 grams at may SDP na PhP1,564.00.

Lahat ng mga nakumpiskang ebidensiya ay idinala sa operating units para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at tamang disposisyon habang ang inihahanda naman ang kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 laban sa suspek.

Samantala, sa Baguio City, anim na ma*****na seedlings na may SDP na PhP240.00 ang nadiskubre sa isang pampublikong parking area sa Barangay Camp 7. Ayon sa ulat, agad na rumesponde ang mga tauhan ng Police Station (PS) 8 ng Baguio City Police Office matapos makatanggap ng impormasyon mula sa isang concerned citizen hinggil sa pinaghihinalaang ma*****na na nakatamin sa nasabing lugar.

Dinala ang mga nadiskubreng ilegal na halaman sa PS8 para sa dokumentasyon at tamang disposisyon bago i-turn over sa Regional Forensic Unit–CAR, habang patuloy ang isinasagawang imbestigasyon upang matukoy ang indibidwal na responsable sa pagtatanim ng mga ito.
