LAMUT, IFUGAO – July 8, 2026 — The Municipality of Aguinaldo was awarded the Green Banner Seal of Compliance for achieving three consecutive years of compliance during the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation Protocol (MELLPI Pro) awarding ceremony held in Lamut, Ifugao.

The award recognizes the municipality's consistent implementation of quality nutrition programs that have contributed to improving the nutritional status of its constituents, particularly children.

The award was received by Municipal Nutrition Action Officer Revelyn Gabino, Municipal Health Officer Dra. Virginia Dulnuan, Nurse Faith Lamag, Nutrition aide Love-in Lagat , and BHW President Florentina Lahina , on behalf of the Municipality of Aguinaldo.

The recognition reflects the collective efforts of the Municipal Nutrition Committee, Municipal Health Office, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, partner agencies, and other stakeholders in advancing nutrition and health programs throughout the municipality.

AGUINALDO, IFUGAO – July 8, 2026 — Municipal Mayor Clemente S. Talusig, Chairperson of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), has placed the municipality under Blue Alert Status through an Emergency Operations Activation Order following the latest weather advisory issued by DOST-PAGASA.

Based on Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 3 for Super Typhoon "Inday," issued at 11:00 A.M. on July 8, 2026, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 has been raised over the Municipality of Aguinaldo.

In response, the MDRRMC Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has been activated under Blue Alert Status to ensure heightened monitoring, coordination, and preparedness for possible impacts of the weather disturbance.

All Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (BDRRMCs) are directed to closely monitor conditions within their respective areas, immediately report any untoward incidents through the MDRRMC Emergency Operations Center, and submit timely situational reports through MDRRM Aguila.

AGUINALDO, IFUGAO – The Local Government Unit of Aguinaldo advises residents that the scheduled power interruption originally set for July 10, 2026, has been rescheduled to July 14, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, based on the advisory issued by IFELCO.

The interruption will affect the entire Municipality of Aguinaldo, along with other areas served by the Namillangan, Alfonso Lista Substation, to allow maintenance activities on the Santiago–Alicia–Cabatuan–Alfonso Lista 69kV sub-transmission line.

Residents are encouraged to make the necessary preparations. As power may be restored earlier than scheduled, everyone is advised to treat all electrical lines as energized at all times.

Mga lugar sa Cordillera na isinailalim sa tropical cyclone wind signal (TCWS) no. 1 dahil sa banta ng super typhoon na si , as of 11AM, July 8, 2026:

▪️The northern portion of Abra (Tineg, Lagayan, Danglas, San Juan, Lagangilang, Licuan-Baay, Malibcong, Lacub, Daguioman, Dolores, La Paz)

Ang warning lead time sa TCWS No. 1 ay 36 oras. Ibig sabihin, mararamdaman ang epekto ng bagyo sa loob ng susunod na 36 oras.

Maagang ipinalalabas ng PAGASA ang wind signal upang bigyang babala ang publiko at upang makapaghanda sila sa posibleng epekto ng bagyo sa mga susunod na oras.

Tandaan! Ang TCWS ay BATAY SA LAKAS NG HANGIN at hindi sa dami o tindi ng ulan na dala nito.

AGUINALDO, IFUGAO – July 6, 2026 — The Aguinaldo Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted the orientation and oath-taking of the pioneer Junior Police members at Ubao National High School–Extension in Galonogon.

The activity gathered the selected learners from Grades 8 to 10, who were introduced to the roles and responsibilities of Junior Police members in promoting discipline, leadership, volunteerism, and civic responsibility within the school and community.

PLT JIM A KINOMON, Officer-in-Charge of Aguinaldo MPS, administered the oath of office, while Teacher-in-Charge Mario C. Opigan encouraged the students to become positive role models and responsible leaders among their peers.

Municipal Mayor Clemente S. Talusig welcomed the initiative, recognizing its contribution to developing responsible, law-abiding, and community-oriented youth. The LGU likewise commends the Aguinaldo MPS and the school for fostering leadership and strengthening youth participation in promoting peace, order, and public safety.

AGUINALDO, IFUGAO – July 3–4, 2026 — The Provincial Government of Ifugao, through the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), conducted a two-day Youth Empowerment Session at Aguinaldo National High School–Main Campus in Lupao, Jacmal, Aguinaldo.

The activity provided participating youth with sessions on leadership, personal development, and active community involvement.

Tom Kristoffer Guinomon, Executive Assistant IV to Governor Jerry U Dalipog and PYDO-designate, personally attended the activity and engaged with the participants, together with Everlyn G. Bastian -LYDO, in support of the Provincial Government's continuing commitment to youth development.

Municipal Mayor Clemente S. Talusig through Maedelyn L. Ponhalban expressed his appreciation to the Provincial Government of Ifugao for bringing the program to Aguinaldo, recognizing its contribution to empowering young people and preparing them to become responsible and productive members of their communities.
