The Social Pension (SocPen) distribution for senior citizens, funded by the Municipal Government of Igbaras, was successfully conducted earlier today at the Igbaras Central Elementary School Garinasium.

The Igbaras Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, in coordination with the Igbaras Municipal Treasury Office, led the distribution.

𝟐𝟓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝟔 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐒𝐁𝐒𝐀 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

A total of 523 learners (Grade 6 and LSENS) from 18 elementary schools in Igbaras received financial assistance from the Municipal Government of Igbaras earlier today at the Igbaras Covered Gym. The payout was facilitated by personnel from the Igbaras Treasury Office and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) Office.

Alongside the activity, the Municipal Agriculture Office also conducted the RSBSA updating for Igbarasnon farmers at the same venue.

To strengthen coordination and sustain partnerships with barangays, personnel from the Igbaras Municipal Treasury attended the Barangay Assembly of Barangay 2 Poblacion today to present the BIDA KAP Igbaras campaign and discuss revenue generation updates, the real property tax amnesty program and related initiatives, as well as other treasury concerns.

Imaw si Mayor Juvic Escorpion, ang Igbaras Municipal Treasury Office maga conduct na kang Pulong-pulong sa barangay through the Bida Kap Igbaras initiative.

The activity aims to kick off and strengthen the municipality’s information and awareness campaign on Real Property Tax (RPT) Amnesty and the issuance of Notices of Delinquency (NODs) to delinquent taxpayers. Present during the meeting were Municipal Treasurer Ma. Asuncion Blanca and Joseph Peter Erazo, RPT focal person.

As part of the campaign, the team also distributed informational flyers to the Punong Barangays to help further disseminate information regarding the RPT amnesty program and encourage taxpayers to settle their obligations.

Personnel from the Igbaras Municipal Treasury Office, together with the Municipal Agriculture’s Office, conducted the branding of large animals at Barangay Amorogtong, Igbaras, Iloilo today, March 10, 2026.

This activity aims to ensure the proper identification and registration of livestock, strengthen monitoring, and help prevent livestock theft while supporting local farmers and livestock raisers.

TREASURY IN ACTION | The personnel of the Igbaras Municipal Treasury Office, in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office, conducted a branding and immunization activity for large animals at Brgy. Igpigus, Igbaras, Iloilo yesterday, March 2, 2026.

Alongside the veterinary services provided, the Treasury personnel also facilitated the collection of corresponding registration fees and other applicable local charges in accordance with existing municipal ordinances. This ensures proper documentation of livestock ownership while strengthening local revenue generation that supports essential government programs and services.
