In cooperation with DILG Isabela led by Provincial Director Engr. Corazon D Toribio, CESO V and the Philippine National Police, the Bureau of Fire Protection, duly represented by CINSP ANGEL S DIQUIATCO JR, BFP Acting Provincial Fire Director, served as a member of the Inspection and Certification Team during the assessment of DILG Safety Seal Certification compliance of different offices/agencies in Tumauini, Isabela. The Safety Seal Certification is a certification scheme that affirms that an establishment is compliant with minimum public health standards set by the government.

"TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND SAVE LIVES."

On this day, under the dynamic leadership of Regional Director SSUPT RIZALDE M CASTRO, BFP, all provinces of Region 2 conducted a Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity. In the province of Isabela, ably led by Acting Provincial Fire Director CINSP ANGEL S DIQUIATCO JR, the staff and personnel of OPFD Isabela, City of Ilagan FS, Isabela Police Provincial Office, and BJMP joined together to plant over 900 seedlings at Sitio Lagis, City of Ilagan, Isabela. This cumulative effort was made possible due also to the overwhelming support of the Provincial Government of Isabela led by. Hon. Governor Rodolfo T. Albano III, Hon. Vice Governor Faustino G. Dy III, and Hon. Mayor Josemarie L. Diaz.

This activity truly showcased the camaraderie among different agencies working towards similar goals- the restoration of nature and reduction of the effects of climate change, one tree at a time. A total of 2,213 seedlings were planted all over the province in different areas.

The activity was graced by no less than SUPT JOANNE E VALLEJO, BFP Deputy Regional Director for Administration and SINSP MARJORIE JENNA A AGGABAO-RESURECCION, BFP Chief, Admin Division.

Through the active leadership of CINSP ANGEL S DIQUIATCO JR, Acting Provincial Fire Director, the Office of the Provincial Fire Director Isabela celebrates the 123rd Independence Day with the theme, "Kalayaan 2021: Diwa sa Pagkakaisa at paghilom ng Bayan".

This day also reminds us to pay tribute to our heroes then and all modern-day heroes of today.

In cooperation with the PDRRMC and through the leadership of CINSP ANGEL S DIQUIATCO JR, Acting Provincial Fire Director of BFP Isabela, personnel of OPFD, Isabela specially trained in Water Safety and Rescue (WASAR) participated in the WASAR Refresher Course conducted by PDRRMC Isabela. This is in preparation for the upcoming rainy season and possible onslaught of weather disturbances such as typhoons and floods within the province.
