HAPPY FEAST DAY OUR LADY OF MIRACULOUS MEDAL🎉🎉🎉

The story of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal begins in 1830 in Paris, France, when the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Catherine Labouré, a novice of the Daughters of Charity. The first apparition occurred on July 18, when Catherine was led by her guardian angel to the chapel on Rue du Bac and saw Mary seated near the altar, speaking to her about the need for prayer, humility, and trust. The most important apparition took place on November 27, 1830, when Mary appeared standing on a globe with rays of light streaming from her hands, symbolizing the graces she obtains for those who ask. Surrounding her was the inscription: “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” Mary instructed Catherine to have a medal struck based on this vision, promising that those who wore it with faith would receive great graces. The first medals were made in 1832, and so many miracles and conversions followed that it quickly became known as the Miraculous Medal. St. Catherine lived a quiet life and revealed the apparitions only near her death in 1876; she was canonized in 1947.

The Church celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal on November 27, the anniversary of the apparition in which Mary revealed the design of the medal and its graces.

The said activities scheduled tomorrow for Feast day are Cancelled dahil po sa walang tigil na pagbuhos ng ulan at pagtaas ng tubig sa mga ilog na maaring magresulta sa malawakang pagbaha.

However, ang awarding po ng basketball ay magaganap na lamang po sa barangay hall kapag kumalma na po ang ulan, please stand by lang po and keep updated about this.
