NOTICE OF PRE-QUALIFYING EXAMINATION
The City Human Resource Management Office hereby announces that the applicants whose names appear in the attached list are scheduled to take the PRE-QUALIFYING EXAMINATION on May 19 to 21, 2026 at the Blue House Gymnasium, Luinab, Bahayan, Iligan City.
All examinees are directed to report to the examination venue at least one (1) hour before their scheduled examination time as provided in the attached list for attendance verification and seating arrangements.
Applicants are required to bring the following:
● One (1) valid government-issued identification card;
● Black or blue ballpen; and
● Pencil and eraser.
Please be guided by the following rules, regulations, and reminders:
GENERAL RULES AND REMINDERS
1. Strictly No Late Admission.
Applicants who arrive after the official start of the examination shall no longer be allowed to take the examination under any circumstance.
2. No Rescheduling of Examination.
Failure to appear on the scheduled examination date and time shall be deemed a waiver of the applicant’s opportunity to take the examination. Requests for rescheduling shall not be entertained.
3. No Online Examination.
All examinations shall be conducted strictly in person at the designated examination venue. Online or remote examinations are not allowed.
4. Prohibition on Electronic Devices and Gadgets.
The possession and/or use of any electronic device during the examination is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
○ Smartwatches;
○ Mobile phones/smartphones;
○ Earbuds, headphones, or similar devices;
○ Calculators;
○ Cameras; and
○ Other communication or recording devices.
5. All electronic devices must be turned off and kept away prior to the start of the examination. The Iligan City Government shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
6. Strictly No Taking of Photos or Videos.
Taking photographs, screenshots, audio recordings, or videos inside or within the vicinity of the examination area is strictly prohibited.
7. Restriction on Stay in the Examination Area.
Only applicants scheduled for the next examination shall be allowed to stay in the designated waiting area or bleachers. All examinees who have finished taking the examination must leave the premises immediately after their examination.
Any examinee in the waiting area or bleachers found communicating, attempting to communicate, or exchanging information with an examinee currently taking the examination, whether directly or indirectly, shall be given a final warning. If the conduct continues, the examinee shall be disqualified from continuing the examination and may face further sanctions from the Personnel Selection Board and the Civil Service Commission.
CHEATING AND OTHER PROHIBITED ACTS
Any examinee found committing, attempting to commit, or facilitating any form of cheating, dishonesty, or examination misconduct, including but not limited to the following:
● Possession or use of unauthorized notes or materials;
● Communication with other examinees during the examination;
● Use of prohibited electronic devices;
● Copying answers from another examinee;
● Allowing another person to copy answers;
● Impersonation or misrepresentation;
● Taking photos or reproducing examination materials; or
● Any act intended to compromise the integrity and confidentiality of the examination,
shall be immediately removed from the examination venue, automatically disqualified from the examination process, and may be subjected to further administrative action or penalties as may be deemed appropriate by the Personnel Selection Board, the City Human Resource Management Office, and the Civil Service Commission, without prejudice to the filing of applicable civil, criminal, or administrative charges under existing laws, rules, and regulations.
IMPLIED CONSENT
Attendance and participation in the examination shall constitute the applicant’s full understanding, acknowledgment, and implied consent to abide by all examination rules, regulations, policies, and procedures imposed by the City Human Resource Management Office and the Personnel Selection Board.
