The Credit Surety Fund (CSF) is a major game-changer for local economies, especially in cities where small businesses are the heartbeat of the community.
At its core, a Credit Surety Fund is a credit enhancement schemeโ€”originally developed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and institutionalized under Republic Act No. 10744โ€”that pools money from local cooperatives, non-government organizations (NGOs), the Local Government Unit (LGU), and government financial institutions.

Through the combined efforts of CDA Regional Office X, City Government of Iligan, LGU Iligan - Cooperative Development and Livelihood Office, IliganCity Cooperative Development Council, Land Bank of the Philippines and Major Cooperatives in Iligan City this program was made possible.

We are grateful to have successfully turned over a Sewing Machine and Fabric to the Habcore Women's and Farmers Association. This initiative aims to support the association in enhancing their livelihood opportunities, developing sewing skills, and creating additional sources of income for their members.

This sewing machine becomes a valuable tool in fostering productivity, self-reliance, and economic empowerment within the community.
