In a proactive effort to bring essential public services directly to the community, representatives from GSIS Iligan participated in the Job Fair 2026 One-Stop-Shop Services on July 13, 2026, at the Mindanao State University – Maigo College of Education, Science and Technology (MSU–MCEST). The GSIS Iligan Branch, represented by Billing, Collection, and Reconciliation Division (BCRD) Chief Ivory N. Paunte, Mr. Donald Rey M. Ancao of Internal Reconciliation Unit (InRU), Ms. Ma. Cynthia Z. Paguinto of Members Assistance Unit (MAU), joined various government agencies and employers to provide streamlined public services and immediate employment assistance in a convenient, one-stop venue for job seekers and the public.

As one of the participating agencies, the GSIS Iligan team accommodated inquiries on membership, loan programs, and other GSIS services. The event also provided an opportunity to introduce aspiring government employees to the benefits and privileges they may enjoy once they enter public service, while raising awareness of GSIS programs and services available to current and future members.

Through its continued participation in community-based initiatives, GSIS Iligan continues to strengthen awareness of its programs and bring its services closer to the communities it serves.

𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟲𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿!

𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗟 𝗦𝗨𝗥 – The GSIS Iligan Branch proudly joined in the week-long celebration of the 67th Araw ng Lanao del Sur through the Ranaw Serbisyo Day – Government Services Exhibit, held under the theme, “𝘗𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘺𝘢-𝘢𝘯 𝘰 𝘚𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘬.” Organized by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, the event brought together national government agencies to set up on-site service desks and render direct public assistance to local constituents of the province.

Through the combined efforts of the Office of the Branch Manager (OBM), Billing, Collection, and Reconciliation Division (BCRD), and the Frontline Services Division (FSD), the GSIS Iligan booth won First Runner Up in the government-wide Booth Decoration Competition. Aligned with the sub-theme, “Professional Government Service Delivery with Maranao Cultural Identity,” the award recognizes the branch’s ability to seamlessly fuse the agency’s standards of service excellence with a deep reverence for Maranao heritage.

Beyond this success, GSIS Iligan operated an active service desk for the duration of the seven-day exhibit. Branch representatives were stationed on-site to provided face-to-face support to active members and pensioners regarding loan applications, benefit claims, membership record verification, and other frontline services.

The GSIS Iligan Branch extends its appreciation to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur for organizing this meaningful initiative. By uniting government agencies under one venue, the Ranaw Serbisyo Day allowed GSIS Iligan to execute its core mandate directly on the ground, ensuring that every member and pensioner in Lanao del Sur receives the reliable, frontline support they deserve.

𝐆𝐒𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐆𝐒𝐈𝐒 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞-𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬

On July 17, 2026, the GSIS Iligan Branch was invited to the MSU CHTM Pavilion to conduct the GSIS Update and Re-Orientation on Life and Non-Life Insurance, Loan Programs, and Retirement Benefits for the employees of Mindanao State University – Main Campus.

The activity aimed to update MSU Main Campus officials, deans, and personnel on the latest GSIS programs and services while reinforcing their understanding of membership benefits, insurance coverage, loan facilities, and retirement preparation.

The GSIS Iligan delegation was warmly welcomed by MSU Human Resource Development Office (HRDO) Director Faisal G. Mangotara, JD, together with Accounting Office Director Tarhata M. Capal, who facilitated the conduct of the activity.

The program formally opened with welcome remarks from GSIS Iligan Branch Manager Elna Maria M. Milan, followed by the introduction of the resource speakers led by Norsalem D. Dimaporo, Frontline Services Division (FSD) Division Chief.

During the orientation, GSIS representatives discussed a range of topics relevant to the MSU Main Campus community. FSD Claims Unit Team Leader Noralyn L. Dalupang-Datu provided an orientation for newly hired members and facilitated the pre-retirement orientation for employees nearing retirement. FSD Special Business Unit Team Leader Karl Mohammad Sadat M. Boransing then presented the available Non-Life Insurance products and GSIS Loan Programs, highlighting their features and eligibility requirements. BCRD Team Leader Abdul Wahid B. Pascan also provided participants with additional information on the services and initiatives available to GSIS members.

The activity concluded with an interactive forum, allowing attendees to seek clarification on various GSIS programs and services. A group photo and the awarding of certificates capped the event, commemorating its successful conduct and reaffirming the continued partnership between GSIS Iligan Branch and Mindanao State University – Main Campus in promoting member education and accessible public service.
