𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 📚✨

The MSU-IIT University Library was delighted to welcome delegates from the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗟𝗚𝗨) 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼, 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹, for an educational visit today, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The visitors were given a guided tour of the Main Library and the CASS Library, where they explored our modern facilities and diverse resources. A brief lecture was conducted highlighting our learning resources and services, giving them a deeper understanding of how the library actively supports academic excellence and community development.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the LGU of Don Victoriano for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the visit. May this experience strengthen our shared commitment to education, innovation, and lifelong learning!✨

𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮📍✨

The MSU-IIT University Library recently wrapped up a highly productive benchmarking visit across five of the Philippines’ most esteemed academic and national institutions. Spearheaded by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗚. 𝗔𝗹𝗶, Head of the University Library, joined by two key library personnel, the delegation had engaged in consultations and facility tours at the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, and the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀, as well as the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 and the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 in Metro Manila on May 5-7, 2026.

The tour was an opportunity to share meaningful conversations with fellow professionals, exchange insights, and witness firsthand the systems and practices that keep these institutions at the forefront of information and archival management. It delved into a wide range of topics crucial to modern library work – from 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴 and 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, to 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴, and 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴. Equally important was the focus on 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦, a responsibility that connects libraries to the nation’s collective memory.

By immersing in the best practices of these leading institutions, the University Library gained valuable perspectives that will guide and implement future strategies, enhance service delivery, and ensure that its resources remain responsive to the evolving needs of the academic community.

MSU-IIT celebrates another milestone in academic excellence! 🏆

Four more programs have successfully passed the ASEAN University Network–Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Programme Assessment!

All of the undergraduate programs of the College of Arts and Social Sciences, in particular, have now officially passed the AUN-QA assessment!

The assessment was successfully passed by the following CASS programs: Bachelor of Arts in History, the Bachelor of Science in Philosophy major in Applied Ethics, and the Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Meanwhile, the College of Education’s Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Language Education is the first program of the College to pass the assessment.

This achievement and endeavor are a result of our ingrained collaborative spirit, and this success belongs to every member of our community!

More programs across the University are scheduled to undergo the same stringent assessment and evaluation process. This comprehensive quality assurance measure is a vital part of our commitment to maintaining and elevating the standards of academic excellence.
