Throughout January, he consistently displayed the essence of being an emergency officer. Whether responding to urgent calls, coordinating with fellow responders, or providing reassurance to individuals in distress, they handled every responsibility with skill and compassion. Typhoon Uwan continues to rapidly intensify while moving west-northwest toward Catanduanes and Aurora. It is not expected to make landfall in Mindanao, but its wide circulation will still bring cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers, and occasional thunderstorms across Northern Mindanao, including Iligan City.

𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲
𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬: No Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal over Iligan City as of this bulletin.
𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Around 70–80% probability of light to moderate, sometimes heavy rains due to the outer rainbands of Typhoon Uwan.
𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Generally light to moderate, but may become gusty, especially along coastal and upland areas.
𝐒𝐞𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Moderate to rough seas (up to 2–3 meters). Small boats and fisherfolk are strongly advised not to venture out due to risky sea travel conditions.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬
- Localized flooding in low-lying or poor drainage areas.
- Landslides possible in hilly or mountainous barangays after prolonged rain.
- Occasional power interruptions may occur due to wind gusts or thunderstorms.

✅𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬
- Stay alert for ICDRRMO advisories and updates from PAGASA and the City Government of Iligan.
- Avoid rivers and their tributaries that are prone to sudden rise in water level.
- Secure loose objects outdoors; check roofs and drainage systems.
- Keep emergency supplies ready and report any incidents to local authorities.

Typhoon Uwan will not directly affect Iligan City but may bring intermittent rains and gusty winds over the weekend.

The City Government and ICDRRMO continue to monitor the situation closely and coordinate with barangays to ensure timely warnings and updates.
