On May 29, 2026, the City Engineerโs Office (CEO) conducted a Pre-Construction Meeting for the Rehabilitation/Repair of the Womenโs Building located at the Anahaw Amphitheatre, marking an important step toward the implementation of the project.
The meeting gathered concerned offices and stakeholders to discuss the scope of work, project timelines, implementation procedures, and other essential requirements to ensure the smooth and efficient ex*****on of the rehabilitation activities. Engr. Janzen Wong from the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) attended the meeting in support of the project and to ensure its alignment with the city's development plans and priorities.
Funded through the Gender and Development (GAD) Program, the project aims to improve and revitalize the Womenโs Building, providing a more functional, safe, and conducive space for activities, programs, and services that promote womenโs empowerment and gender-responsive development.
