FROM FINGERLINGS TO A FUTURE OF HOPE

On August 20, Kagawad Aloha Oracion joined the distribution of 11,000 Bangus fingerlings from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) to the Dalipuga–Paitan Fisherfolks Association.

This livelihood support was made possible through the efforts of Congressman Celso Gomera Regencia, providing our fisherfolk with an opportunity to grow their income and build a more sustainable future.

More than 11,000 fingerlings were given—11,000 opportunities to grow, provide, and hope.

Today, we nurture the fingerlings. Tomorrow, we harvest hope.

Planting Seeds of Hope in Mapalad, Dalipuga.

The Rotary Club of Iligan North, in partnership with the Congressional Office of Iligan – Congressman Celso Gomera Regencia, the Department of Agriculture, and Kagawad Aloha Oracion, distributed a sack of yellow corn seeds to the hardworking farmers of Mapalad, Dalipuga, Iligan City.

This initiative is a commitment to the welfare, livelihood, and economic development of our hinterland farmers—providing them not only with seeds, but with opportunities to grow, earn, and build a better future.

Today, we plant seeds. Tomorrow, we harvest hope.

DALIPUGA–PAITAN FISHERFOLKS FISH CAGE TURN-OVER CEREMONY

Today marks a significant step toward sustainable livelihood and greater opportunities for the fisherfolk of Paitan, Dalipuga.

This project was initiated by the Congressional Office of Iligan, with the budget for the three (3) fish cages lobbied by Congressman Celso Gomera Regencia to support our local fisherfolk and help uplift their families.

Tomorrow, the journey continues with the dispersal of Bangus fingerlings—the beginning of a project that will grow not only fish, but also income, hope, and a better future.
