Following the application period from August 24 to 27, the KASAMA Legislative Body convenes the 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗔 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 with representatives from student councils and publications to assess the five senatoriables seeking to serve and fill in the remaining seats in the KASAMA Legislative Body.

The forum provides the senatoriables an avenue to present their platforms, advocacies, and visions for the student body, fostering meaningful dialogue toward a more representative and responsive student government.

The Office of the KASAMA President announces the appointment of 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗹 𝗖. 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗼 as the Official Adviser of the Kataas-taasang Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral (KASAMA) for Academic Year 2026-2027, pursuant to Article VI, Section 10 of the 2025 KASAMA Constitution and By-Laws.

As KASAMA continues to uphold its mandate to represent, serve, and advance the interests and welfare of the studentry, the role of an Adviser remains vital in providing institutional guidance, perspective, and support to the Council in the exercise of its responsibilities.

With her appointment, Assoc. Prof. Encabo will provide guidance on KASAMA’s official functions, programs, policies, financial accountability, and institutional coordination, while upholding the student-led, democratic, and representative character of the KASAMA.

As KASAMA moves forward, may guidance and student leadership work hand in hand—grounded in integrity, accountability, and a shared commitment to the welfare of every student.
