Following Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 3 for Typhoon “UWAN” (Fung-Wong) issued by DOST-PAGASA , Mayor Freddie Siao , Chairperson of the Iligan City DRRM Council, has raised 𝐈𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐋𝐔𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐒.

🌧 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬:

The activity focused on preparing couples for married life through discussions on responsible parenthood, health, and family well-being.

In line with the National Power Corporation’s (NPC) advisory, public viewing of Maria Cristina Falls continues to be suspended to ensure the safety of visitors due to recurring landslides along the access road. This measure will remain in effect until further notice from NPC.

For those who wish to visit the Falls, the City Tourism Office will facilitate requests through an endorsement to NPC. Interested individuals may coordinate with the City Tourism Office via email at [email protected] or [email protected]. Please note that unfavorable weather conditions a day or night before the planned visit will result in the automatic disapproval of the request for safety reasons.

The City Tourism Office will forward NPC’s decision once received. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these safety measures.
