We regret to announce that the Battle of the Bands, originally scheduled for August 13, 2026, has been cancelled due to low band participation.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who showed interest and support for the event. Your enthusiasm and love for music are truly appreciated. 🎶❤️

We hope to see you all in our future events, and we look forward to bringing you an even bigger and better musical experience next time.

Official Rules and Mechanics
1. Eligibility
-The competition is OPEN CATEGORY. Bands of all ages and experience levels are welcome to join.
-Each band must have a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 8 members.
-Each participant may perform with only one competing band.
-Bands are responsible for bringing their own instruments and accessories, except for the basic backline, drum set and sound system provided by the organizers.

2. Registration
-Registration Fee: ₱2,000.00 per band
-Maximum of 10 competing bands only.
-Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis upon full payment of the registration fee.
-Registration closes once all 10 slots have been filled.

3. Performance Mechanics
-Each band will perform two (2) songs only.
-Total performance time, including introductions and transitions between songs, must not exceed 10 minutes.
-Bands are encouraged to prepare a performance with a minimum duration of 5 minutes.
-Exceeding the allotted performance time may result in score deductions at the discretion of the judges.

4. Setup and Sound Check
-Each band will be given 5–10 minutes to set up and line-check before their performance.
-Bands must be ready when called. Failure to appear within the allotted preparation time may result in disqualification.
-Only minimal adjustments will be allowed during setup to ensure the program stays on schedule.

6. General Rules
-Songs must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or excessively vulgar content.
-The winning band will perform on August 15, 2026 as a front act of our Guest for Acmac Fiesta Celebration
-Bands must observe proper conduct throughout the event.
-The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
-The organizers reserve the right to modify the program or mechanics when necessary to ensure the smooth conduct of the competition.

7. Prizes
Champion – ₱15,000.00 + Certificate
1st Runner-Up – ₱10,000.00 + Certificate
2nd Runner-Up – ₱5,000.00 + Certificate
Consolation Prize – ₱1,000.00 + Certificate (for each non-winning band)
