ANOTHER GOLD FOR ILOILO

Ilonggo jumper Franklin Catera used the old form that won the last year's Palarong Pambansa gold medal as he topped the Batang Pinoy 2024 in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

The native of Tigbauan, Iloilo outmuscled 28 other athletes in high jump earlier today, leaping 1.98m, .03 higher than his Palaro record. He is coached by Darryl Parreño.

Yesterday, the bag attached to my bile duct was successfully removed. I feel much stronger now and expect to be back home by the end of the week. Moving around is easier without the tube and bag, and I’m incredibly grateful for this progress. God is so good!
