𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡 | Matapos ang regular na Seremonya ng Pagtataas ng Watawat, nagsagawa ang Kawanihan ng Pamatay Sunog Rehiyon Sais (BFP R6), sa pangunguna ni 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗣 𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗦, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, at sa gabay ni 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗟 𝗔 𝗞𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗨, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, BFP Officer-in-Charge, ng Inspection of Ranks and Troops sa Panrehiyong Tanggapan ng BFP R6.

Layunin ng inspeksiyon na tiyakin ang pagsunod ng mga kawani sa itinakdang pamantayan sa wastong pagsusuot ng uniporme, maayos na pag-aayos ng sarili, wastong tindig, at disiplina. Nagsilbi rin itong pagkakataon upang masuri ang kanilang kahandaan sa patuloy na pagtupad sa tungkulin bilang mga lingkod-bayan.

Sa pamamagitan ng regular na Inspection of Ranks and Troops, patuloy na pinagtitibay ng BFP R6 ang kultura ng disiplina, propesyonalismo, at kahandaan sa hanay ng mga kawani. Sa pagpapanatili ng mataas na pamantayan sa serbisyo, nananatiling handa ang bawat kawani na maghatid ng maagap, maaasahan, at dekalidad na serbisyo para sa kaligtasan ng bawat mamamayan sa Kanlurang Visayas.

Bilang bahagi ng programa, nagsilbing Troop Information and Education Speaker (TIES) si 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟. Sa kanyang mensahe, hinikayat niya ang bawat kawani na magtiwala sa tamang panahon ng Diyos at ipinaalala na ang mga pagkaantala at pagbabago ng direksiyon sa buhay ay maaaring paghahanda para sa mas mabuting pagkakataon. Binigyang-diin din niya na ang tunay na sukatan ng isang lingkod-bayan ay hindi lamang ang ranggo o posisyon, kundi ang patuloy na paglilingkod nang may kababaang-loob, integridad, at dedikasyon.

Sa pagsisimula ng panibagong linggo ng paglilingkod, nananatiling matatag ang BFP Region 6 sa misyon nitong pangalagaan ang buhay at ari-arian ng mamamayan. Kaakibat ng pananampalataya, disiplina, at malasakit, patuloy na isinasabuhay ng bawat kawani ang kanilang sinumpaang tungkulin sa pagbibigay ng maagap, maaasahan, at makataong serbisyo sa buong Kanlurang Visayas.

𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗙𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟲

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6 successfully conducted the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Newly Promoted Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) on 31 July 2026 at Diversion 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

A total of 148 Non-Commissioned Officers formally took their Oath of Office after earning promotion to the next higher rank. The oath was administered by 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗣 𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗦, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, BFP6 Regional Director, who congratulated the personnel and emphasized that their advancement is a way to recognize their hard work, competence, and dedicated service, while likewise calling them to uphold the Bureau’s core values of honor, integrity, professionalism, and commitment to public service.

The promotion reflects the Bureau’s continuing efforts to recognize merit and support professional growth, in line with its thrust under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗟 𝗔 𝗞𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗨, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Officer-In-Charge, Bureau of Fire Protection, to develop a competent and service-oriented workforce.

The ceremony served as a milestone for the newly promoted NCOs, reinforcing their commitment to perform their duties with excellence and dedication to public service.

𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗣 𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗦, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6, paid a courtesy call on 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗹 𝗛. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 of the Province of Capiz to strengthen partnership and collaboration in advancing fire protection and public safety initiatives.

During the meeting, both officials discussed the continued cooperation between the Provincial Government of Capiz and the Bureau of Fire Protection under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗟 𝗔 𝗞𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗨, Officer-In-Charge, particularly in enhancing fire protection services across the province. Among the key matters discussed was the possibility of providing office space for the BFP Special Rescue Force, aimed at further improving emergency response capabilities and ensuring faster, more efficient delivery of rescue and fire services to the people of Capiz.

The courtesy call reflects the shared commitment of the Provincial Government of Capiz and the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6 to fostering stronger interagency collaboration in pursuit of safer, more resilient communities through responsive and effective public service.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6, under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗣 𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗦, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, formally received a computer set and a laptop from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) – Roxas during a Ceremonial Turn-Over held on 30 July 2026 at the BSP-Roxas Office, Arnaldo Boulevard, Brgy. Baybay, Roxas City, Capiz.

The donation is expected to further enhance the Bureau’s administrative and operational capabilities by providing additional information technology resources that will support more efficient and responsive public service delivery.

In his turn-over message, Mr. Victor Ariel S. Dey, BSP Area Director, expressed confidence that the donated equipment would help strengthen the Bureau’s operations and improve the delivery of fire protection services.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the Bureau, RD VARGAS conveyed his sincere gratitude to BSP-Roxas for its generosity and continued support for government agencies. He emphasized that the donation is an investment in the Bureau’s capability to serve more effectively under the leadership and guidance of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗟 𝗔 𝗞𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗨, Officer-in-Charge. He further stated that the computer set and laptop will significantly enhance the Bureau’s administrative efficiency and strengthen its commitment to delivering responsive, efficient, and quality public service.

The initiative underscores the importance of inter-agency collaboration in promoting resource optimization and strengthening government service delivery for the benefit of the people.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6, under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗣 𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗦, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, marked another milestone in enhancing public service through the Ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing, Blessing, and Activation of the Roxas City Satellite Office held on 30 July 2026 at Robinsons Roxas, Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City, Capiz.

The activation of the satellite office was made possible through the partnership between the Roxas City Fire Station led by 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗚 𝗕𝗘𝗗𝗢Ñ𝗔 and Robinsons Malls, bringing essential fire safety and public assistance services closer to the people. The initiative aims to provide a more accessible venue where the public can avail themselves of BFP frontline services, particularly the processing of Fire Safety Inspection Certificates (FSIC) and other related transactions.

Representing Roxas City Mayor Hon. Ronnie T. Dadivas, City Councilor Rey C. Magallanes conveyed the City’s unwavering support for initiatives that make government services more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the public. He likewise reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Bureau in promoting public safety and delivering quality service to the people of Roxas City.

Meanwhile, Ms. Rhoda Avelino, Regional Operations Manager of Robinsons Malls, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting government agencies through meaningful partnerships. She emphasized that the collaboration reinforces Robinsons’ mission of making essential government services more convenient and accessible to the community.

In his message, RD VARGAS underscored the significance of the initiative as part of the Bureau’s commitment to innovation and service excellence under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗟 𝗔 𝗞𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗨, BFP Officer-in-Charge. He highlighted that bringing BFP services closer to the people not only enhances convenience but also strengthens fire safety awareness and compliance among stakeholders. He likewise expressed his sincere gratitude to Robinsons Malls and the City Government of Roxas for their invaluable support to the BFP.

Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6 Regional Director 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗦 𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗦, 𝗗𝗦𝗖 conducted a station visit to Janiuay Fire Station - Iloilo on 29 July 2026, where he was warmly welcomed by SFO3 Jonathan L Pacificar, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal.

The visit provided an opportunity to engage with personnel, assess the station's operational readiness, and reaffirm the Bureau's commitment to delivering efficient and responsive fire and emergency services to the community.

Guided by the leadership of BFP Officer-in-Charge 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗟 𝗔 𝗞𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗨, the BFP Region 6 continues to build stronger connections with personnel on the ground, ensuring that every fire station remains equipped, motivated, and ready to serve.

FCSUPT EDWIN P VARGAS, DSC, Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6, met with Municipal Fire Marshals from the 3rd Congressional District of Iloilo, along with several other fire marshals from the province, at Damires Hills Resort in Janiuay, Iloilo.

The meeting aimed to enhance the delivery of fire protection services and restating the Bureau’s commitment to responsive and effective public service, in accordance with the directives of BFP Officer-in-Charge FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NEIL A KWAN TIU, DSC.

Joining the Regional Director were Assistant Regional Director for Administration FSSUPT CROSBEE B GUMOWANG, DSC; Regional Chief of Staff FSSUPT JANET J GERMINAL, DSC; and Logistics Division Acting Chief FSINSP CHRISTINE B SAMPIANO.

Initiated by Iloilo Provincial Fire Marshal FSUPT MELANIE G HABAWEL, the Municipal Fire Marshals actively participated in the dialogue, raising operational concerns, exchanging insights, and identifying strategies to further improve fire protection services across their respective areas of responsibility.

BFP Region 6 continues to strengthen coordination among its field units to ensure efficient and effective fire service delivery across the province of Iloilo.
