SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "BASYANG" {PENHA} was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Kitcharao, Surigao del Norte (9.4°N, 125.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 90 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 25 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.
FORECAST:
Central Visayas and Negros Island Region will be stormy due to TS Basyang.
The rest of Visayas, Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will experience rains with gusty winds due to TS BASYANG.
The whole Visayas, Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will experience strong winds from the Northeast to Northwest with rough seas.

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "BASYANG" {PENHA} was estimated based on all available data at 460 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (8.1°N, 130.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is moving West Southwestward at 15 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon.
FORECAST:
Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Cebu, Bohol, and Siquijor will experience rains with gusty winds due to TS BASYANG.
The rest of Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to TS BASYANG.
Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.
The whole of Visayas, Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will experience moderate to strong winds from the Northeast to North with moderate to rough seas.
