The Provincial Government of Guimaras joined the nation in celebrating the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary on September 21, 2026, carrying this year’s meaningful theme: “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan.”

A commitment signing in the Lingkod Bayani Wall was held , led by Vice Governor Cecile C. Gumarin, MD together with Ma. Gilda E. Salazar, PhD, Administrative Officer V of the Civil Service Commission- Guimaras Field Office, and the Provincial Government’s dedicated department heads at the Provincial Capitol lobby.

The occasion also served as a meaningful reminder of the vital role of every government employee in building a responsive, accountable, and people-centered public service. More than a celebration, it was an opportunity to recognize the commitment, integrity, dedication, and excellence of public servants who continue to serve the people of Guimaras with puso, dangal, at galing.

As we commemorate this milestone, may we continue to embody the spirit of a Lingkod Bayani—serving with compassion, upholding integrity, and striving for excellence in every responsibility entrusted to us.
