ANNOUNCEMENT: QUALIFYING EXAMINATION AND INTERVIEW SCHEDULE (SECOND BATCH)

To all qualified applicants for the Bachelor of Industrial Technology—Major in Electrical Technology program, please be informed of your schedule for the written qualifying examination and interview.

To ensure a smooth and organized process, kindly follow your assigned date and time.

Required Documents & Materials On the day of your examination, you must bring the following:
• One (1) long white folder
• Black or blue ballpen
• One (1) piece 2x2 picture
• Valid ID (for Gate Pass)

Dress Code:
Applicants are required to wear:
• Plain white t-shirt
• Jeans
• Closed shoes

🚫Strictly Prohibited:
• Ripped or tattered jeans
• Slippers
• Casual or inappropriate t-shirts

📌Important Reminders:
• Please arrive at least 10–15 minutes before your scheduled time for registration and verification.
• Latecomers will no longer be accommodated once the examination has started.

The Bachelor of Industrial Technology Major in Electrical Technology warmly welcomed the new Campus Administrator, Dr. Joey S. Dela Cruz, during the Meet and Greet held on May 19, 2026 at the NISU VSSC Gym.

The activity served as an opportunity to formally introduce the new administration to the faculty, staff, and students while fostering camaraderie, collaboration, and shared commitment toward academic excellence and quality service.

The BIndTech-ELT family expresses its full support and warmest welcome to Dr. Dela Cruz as he leads Northern Iloilo State University – Victorino Salcedo Sara Campus toward greater heights of achievement and innovation.

Who are eligible to apply?

Those who were not able to apply in any NISU campuses during the previous application period.

Applicants are encouraged to visit NISU-VSSC Registrar’s Office within the given schedule and bring the necessary requirements for application.

The spirit of tradition, teamwork, and friendly competition defined this year’s Lahi-e ang Laro as departments showcased their strength and unity throughout the games.

Emerging at the top is BINDTECH as Champion, followed by Hospitality Management as 1st Runner-Up, Criminology Department as 2nd Runner-Up, and Tourism Management placing 4th.

Innovation and collaboration marked the 2nd Tech Expo of Northern Iloilo State University–Victorino Salcedo Campus, held at the Campus Gymnasium on February 27, 2026, with the theme “NISU-VSC Tech Nexus: Connecting Minds, Meaningful Innovation Impact.”

The university underscored the importance of technological advancement and collaboration as the campus held its second Tech Expo, providing a venue for students to present their innovations and research-based projects.

Engr. Hermie A. Alegre, Chairperson of the Bindtech Department, officially welcomed participants and guests to the second staging of the Tech Expo. He emphasized the importance of collaboration, creativity, and progress, describing the event as a platform where the intersection of technology and innovation sparks meaningful impact within the academic community.

Campus Administrator Dr. Raffy B. Chavez expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in organizing the program. In his message, he acknowledged the continuous advancement of technology, particularly developments such as artificial intelligence. He stressed that innovation never stops and should not be limited, encouraging students and faculty to continuously improve their technological initiatives in the coming years.

Meanwhile, Dr. Rosalie Grace S. Dela Cruz, Dean of the College of Industrial Technology, inspired participants by reminding them that the knowledge and skills they develop today will create a real impact in the future. She encouraged students to pursue innovation responsibly, ensuring that technology is used for meaningful and ethical purposes.

Highlighting the purpose of the Tech Expo, Engr. Jomar A. Dador, Associate Director for IQA and faculty member, explained that the collaboration aims to transform concepts into practical applications. He underscored academic excellence, sustainability, and the development of opportunities as key goals of the event, describing it as a celebration of curiosity, perseverance, and meaningful innovation.

The 2nd Tech Expo once again served as a platform for students to showcase their creativity and technical skills, reinforcing NISU-VSC’s commitment to fostering innovation and meaningful impact through technology.
