🎉💻 eLGU Admin Training & System Setup Successfully Concluded in LGU Tangalan, Aklan! 💻🎉

The Local Government Unit of Tangalan, Aklan has successfully completed its 2-day eLGU Admin Training and System Setup, held on August 18–19, 2026, covering three eLGU Modules:

🔹 eLCR – Electronic Local Civil Registry
🔹 eCedula – Electronic Community Tax Certificate
🔹 eNews – Local Government News and Information Platform

The two-day activity provided key personnel with hands-on training and technical guidance to help ensure the effective adoption and utilization of these digital systems.

DICT continues to empower local government personnel in embracing digital transformation—helping promote faster transactions, streamlined processes, reduced queues, and more efficient public service delivery for the people of Tangalan.

Congratulations to LGU Tangalan on the successful completion of the training! May this be another step toward a more digital, efficient, and citizen-centered local government.

The DICT Region VI eGov Team joined the Western Visayas Kick-Off Celebration for the 2026 International Youth Day, Linggo ng Kabataan, and ASEAN Day, organized by Borres Youth Leadership Institute, Inc. on August 7, 2026, at the City of Passi Arena, Passi City, Iloilo.

Bringing together thousands of young leaders and representatives from more than 170 youth organizations across Western Visayas, the celebration provided a vibrant platform for youth leadership, cultural exchange, community engagement, and empowerment.

As one of the exhibitors, DICT Region VI conducted an eGovPH Advocacy and Promotion, introducing young participants to the eGovPH Super App and its digital government services. The team also showcased other DICT initiatives that can help young Filipinos build skills, explore opportunities, and participate in the digital economy—including ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB) training programs and the Philippine Startup Challenge of the ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB).

Through meaningful conversations and direct engagement with young leaders, DICT Region VI continues to support a generation that is 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝, 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

The DICT Region VI eGov Team joined the AI Fest 2026, organized by DOST Region VI, held on August 3–5, 2026 at the Iloilo Convention Center, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, with the theme “Building an AI-Ready Future, Together.”

As part of the event, the DICT Region VI eGov Team conducted an eGovPH Advocacy and Promotion, introducing participants to the eGovPH Super App and its digital government services. The team showcased selected features, including Digital IDs and integrated government services, while assisting interested participants in exploring and navigating the platform.

The activity also provided an opportunity to engage with government personnel, researchers, educators, students, innovators, industry representatives, and technology enthusiasts, gather feedback, and promote greater awareness of accessible digital government services.

As Western Visayas moves toward an AI-ready future, DICT Region VI continues to champion digital platforms that put government services closer to the people—supporting a more connected, accessible, and digitally empowered society.

The DICT Region VI eGov Team joined the Iloilo City MSME Summit 2026, held on July 29–30, 2026 at the Kerr & Co. Building, Iloilo City, with the theme “Bridging MSMEs to Knowledge, Finance, and Markets.”

As one of the participating exhibitors, the DICT eGov Team showcased the eGovPH Super App and highlighted how digital government services can help make business-related transactions more accessible, convenient, and efficient for MSMEs and entrepreneurs.

Through live demonstrations and direct engagement with entrepreneurs, the team showed how eGovPH can serve as a one-stop digital gateway to government services, helping MSMEs save time and effort while taking steps toward more digitally enabled business operations.

The activity reinforced DICT Region VI's commitment to supporting MSMEs through digitalization and accessible government services—because when government services become easier to access, businesses can focus more on growing and creating opportunities.

On July 28, 2026, the DICT Region VI eGovPH Team conducted an eGovPH Orientation for the admin trainees of the Local Government Units (LGUs) of Ibajay and Nabas, Aklan at the ILCDB Conference Room, DICT Regional Office VI, Iloilo City.

The orientation provided participants with an overview of the eGovPH Super App, highlighting how digital platforms can make government services more accessible, convenient, and efficient for Filipinos.

Participants also learned about the app's key features, functionalities, and latest updates, along with proper navigation and use of the platform. Through this activity, the trainees were equipped with knowledge that they can share and apply in their respective LGUs, helping promote wider awareness and adoption of digital government services.

On July 24, 2026, the DICT Region VI eGovPH Team conducted an eGovPH Advocacy and Promotion Activity in support of the DSWD Region VI UPLIFT Payout Activity at the Municipal Gymnasium in Sibunag, Guimaras.

DICT eGovPH personnel provided hands-on assistance to UPLIFT beneficiaries in downloading the eGovPH Super App, creating their accounts, and completing the account verification process.

Beyond providing technical assistance, the activity served as an opportunity to introduce beneficiaries to the eGovPH Super App as a convenient gateway to various government digital services—helping make digital government more accessible, one community at a time.

The DICT Region VI eGov Team continues its advocacy for a more connected and digitally empowered Philippines through an eGovPH Orientation for the 2nd Batch of DICT Region VI On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) on July 21, 2026.

Held through a hybrid setup, the orientation brought together OJTs from the DICT Regional Office VI, DICT Aklan, and Capiz Provincial Offices, introducing them to the features, services, and benefits of the eGovPH Super App.

Beyond learning how to access digital government services, the participants also gained a better understanding of how eGovPH helps make government services more convenient, accessible, and efficient for every Filipino. The session concluded with an open forum and hands-on assistance as participants downloaded and signed up for the app.

By introducing eGovPH to every new batch of OJTs and GIPs, we hope to create not only informed users, but also future advocates of digital government.

🚀 Progress continues as LGU San Rafael, Iloilo advances its digital transformation!

The recently concluded Days 3 and 4 of the Onsite eLGU Admin Training and System Setup showcased the unwavering commitment of LGU San Rafael, Iloilo to modernizing public service through digital innovation.

Through intensive hands-on workshops, system configuration, and practical exercises, participating personnel further enhanced their knowledge and technical skills in administering the DICT eLGU System. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication throughout the training demonstrate the LGU's readiness to embrace technology in delivering faster, more efficient, and more transparent government services for every San Rafaeleño.

Together, we are building a smarter, more responsive, and digitally empowered local government—one step closer to excellent public service.
