📌 완주군 방문단 미나초등학교 봉사활동 및 한인회 방문

오늘 한국후계농업경영인 완주군연합회 방문단은 미나(Mina) 초등학교를 방문하여 뜻깊은 봉사활동을 진행하였습니다.

학교 관계자 및 학생들과 함께 다양한 활동을 하며 따뜻한 정을 나누었고, 한국과 필리핀 간의 우정과 교류를 더욱 돈독히 하는 의미 있는 시간을 가졌습니다.

봉사활동을 마친 후에는 일로일로 한인회를 방문하여 한인회 관계자들과 인사를 나누고 간담회를 가졌습니다.

이번 만남을 통해 일로일로 지역 한인사회의 활동과 현황을 소개하고, 한국과 필리핀 양국 간의 교류와 협력에 대해서도 다양한 이야기를 나누었습니다.

대한민국 완주군 대표단

아서 디펜서 주니어(Arthur Defensor, Jr.) 주지사는 라울 바니아스(Raul Banias) 주 행정관과 함께 오늘 오후 예방 방문한 대한민국 완주군 대표단을 환영했습니다.

이번 방문에는 2023년부터 완주군과 계절근로자 프로그램을 운영하고 있는 미나(Mina) 지역의 지방정부 관계자들도 함께했습니다.

이 협력 프로그램을 통해 지금까지 400명 이상의 미나 지역 농민들이 완주군에 계절근로자로 파견되었습니다. 이들은 현지에서 필요에 따라 매일 여러 농가에 배정되어 근무하고 있으며, 양파, 마늘, 상추, 딸기 등 다양한 농작물의 파종과 수확 작업을 담당하고 있습니다.

디펜서 주지사는 이 프로그램을 높이 평가하며, 필리핀과 대한민국 양국 정부가 계절근로자들의 역량 강화와 농업 분야 협력 발전을 위해 함께 노력하고 있다는 것을 보여주는 좋은 사례라고 강조했습니다.

Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr., together with Provincial Administrator Raul Banias, welcomed this afternoon the delegation from Wanju-gun, South Korea during their courtesy visit. They were joined by the municipal officials of Mina, which has maintained a Seasonal Farmer Program with Wanju since 2023. Under this partnership, more than 400 Minanhon farmers have already been deployed to Wanju-gun, where they serve as on-call workers assigned to various fields daily. Their tasks include harvesting and planting onions, garlic, lettuce, strawberries, and other crops. Governor Defensor lauded the program, emphasizing that it reflects the shared commitment of both the Philippine and Korean governments to advancing the skills of seasonal farmers

7월 18일(토) 오전 9시부터 학생들은 필리핀 **레온 하이스쿨(Leon High School)**을 방문하여 학교 환경 개선을 위한 페인팅 봉사활동을 진행했습니다.

이번 봉사활동은 단순한 시설 보수를 넘어 한국과 필리핀 학생들이 함께 땀 흘리며 협력하고 우정을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 특히 레온 하이스쿨 학생들과 교직원들의 적극적인 협조와 도움으로 더욱 즐겁고 의미 있는 봉사활동을 마칠 수 있었습니다.

🎨 Painting Volunteer Activity at Leon High School

On Saturday, July 18, beginning at 9:00 AM, students from Baekseok University of Arts and Korea University of Media Arts visited Leon High School to participate in a painting volunteer activity aimed at improving the school environment.

Working side by side with the students and staff of Leon High School, the volunteers demonstrated the true spirit of teamwork, cooperation, and community service. With the warm support and active participation of the Leon High School students, the activity was successfully completed in a positive and meaningful atmosphere.

More than just painting school facilities, this volunteer program provided a valuable opportunity for Korean and Filipino students to build friendships, exchange cultures, and create lasting memories while serving the local community together.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated and supported this meaningful activity. We look forward to continuing programs that promote friendship, cultural exchange, and the spirit of volunteerism between our two countries.

제헌절은 1948년 7월 17일 대한민국 헌법이 제정·공포된 날을 기념하는 국경일입니다. 대한민국이 민주공화국으로서 출발하는 법적 토대를 마련한 매우 뜻깊은 날입니다.

7월 17일이 제헌절로 정해진 이유는 조선왕조를 건국한 1392년 7월 17일의 의미를 이어받아 새로운 대한민국의 출발을 상징하기 위해서입니다.
