A Meaningful Teachers’ Day Celebration at Baluarte Elementary School

Teachers’ Day is a special occasion to recognize the dedication, sacrifices, and invaluable contributions of our teachers. This year, the Baluarte Elementary School teaching personnel were blessed with a meaningful and refreshing celebration made even more special through the generosity and thoughtfulness of Hon. Mayor Raisa Treñas.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Raisa Treñas for giving our teachers the wonderful opportunity to experience a day of relaxation, self-care, and appreciation.

As part of the celebration, our teachers were treated to free haircuts, relaxing massages, manicure, and pedicure services. These simple yet meaningful gestures brought smiles to the faces of our teachers and gave them a much-deserved opportunity to relax and enjoy after their everyday commitment to educating and caring for our learners.

For teachers who spend countless hours preparing lessons, guiding learners, performing school responsibilities, and serving the community, moments like these are truly appreciated. More than the services themselves, we value the recognition, kindness, and appreciation extended to our teachers.

On behalf of the Baluarte Elementary School family, we sincerely thank Mayor Raisa Treñas for remembering and celebrating our teachers. Your generosity reminds us that the work of educators is valued and appreciated by the community.

The safety and well-being of every learner remain a top priority at Baluarte Elementary School. In line with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, the school implements routine bag inspections at designated entry points to help maintain a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment for all.

Bag inspections are conducted with the utmost respect for the dignity, privacy, and rights of learners. These inspections are carried out by authorized personnel using appropriate, non-intrusive procedures to ensure that prohibited or dangerous items do not enter the school premises.

We encourage the full cooperation of our learners, parents, and school community in supporting this initiative. By working together, we can continue to provide a school environment where everyone feels protected, respected, and ready to learn.

Baluarte Elementary School successfully conducted its Mass Oath-Taking Ceremony on July 21, 2026, from 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., formally inducting the newly elected officers of the school's recognized organizations for the School Year 2026–2027.

The first batch, held from 7:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M., featured the officers of the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) Organization, English Club, Math Club, and Science Club. The oath of office was administered by Dr. Eric P. Valenzuela, School Principal IV, who emphasized the importance of servant leadership, accountability, and commitment in fulfilling their roles as school leaders.

The ceremony marked the beginning of the officers' journey of service, as they pledged to uphold the values of integrity, excellence, and cooperation while supporting the programs and initiatives of Baluarte Elementary School.

Baluarte Elementary School successfully conducted the second batch of its Mass Oath-Taking Ceremony from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., formally inducting the newly elected officers of the EPP Club, AP Club, and Filipino Club.

The oath was administered by Dr. Eric P. Valenzuela, School Principal IV, together with Dr. Ma. Teresa M. Tacan, Public Schools District Supervisor. In her message, Dr. Tacan challenged the learners to strengthen their Filipino vocabulary and reading comprehension, enhance their computer skills, and practice responsible waste disposal as responsible and productive members of the school community.

Baluarte Elementary School concluded its Mass Oath-Taking Ceremony with the third batch held from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., formally inducting the newly elected officers of the YES-O, DLMC, Arts Club, GMRC Club, and Sports Club.

The oath of office was administered by Dr. Eric P. Valenzuela, School Principal IV, together with Dr. Ma. Teresa M. Tacan, Public Schools District Supervisor, who encouraged the officers to become responsible, values-driven leaders and active partners in promoting excellence, discipline, environmental stewardship, and school spirit.
