We would like to address the recent posts and comments regarding our recognition post for the graduates of our barangay.
The purpose of our post was simple: to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievement of the graduates whom we know to be residing in our barangay. It was made in good faith, with the intention of giving recognition and appreciation to our fellow youth for reaching this important milestone.
We understand that there may be graduates whom we were not able to include or identify. If we missed someone, we sincerely apologize. We are more than willing to acknowledge them, correct the information, and do what we can to include them. We never intended to exclude, disregard, or make anyone feel less appreciated.
However, while we are open to corrections and constructive criticism, we also hope that concerns can be expressed in a respectful manner. Sharing our post with captions that are insulting, offensive, or intended to demean the people behind the initiative is something we will not tolerate. We are always willing to listen and acknowledge our shortcomings, but disrespect is not the proper way to address them.
We are doing our best to create programs and initiatives that recognize and serve our youth. We may not always get everything right, but our intentions are genuine, and we remain committed to doing better.
If we missed someone, let us know. We will listen, acknowledge, and do something about it. But let us address concerns with respect.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support and understand our efforts to recognize and celebrate the achievements of the youth in our community.
