Forty-three years ago today, the assassination of Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. proved that a single act of conviction can spark a movement to reclaim a nation's freedom. His legacy challenges us to realize that patriotism requires active participation, moral courage, and an unyielding commitment to justice.

"The Filipino is worth dying for." For student leaders and youth advocates, living out these words means standing up against injustice, fighting for transparent leadership, and amplifying the voices of the people. Let us carry Ninoy’s torch forward—using our collective strength to safeguard truth, empower our fellow students, and lead the charge toward a better future for the Philippines. 💙💛

Representatives from WVSU - University Students' Alliance (USA) gathered at the Passi Arena on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, to participate in the joint celebration of International Youth Day, Linggo ng Kabataan, and the ASEAN Day Western Visayas Kick-off.

Hosted by the 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙚 (𝘽𝙔𝙇𝙄), the event brought together emerging youth leaders across the region, encouraging solidarity, active engagement, and collaboration.

The Alliance stands firm in its mission to support initiatives that empower young leaders, foster service-driven leadership, and build an inclusive future. 💙💛

With the rainy season in full swing, the risk of leptospirosis is on the rise. This serious bacterial infection is commonly spread through floodwater contaminated by a bacteria called, leptospira, commonly carried by animals and is transmitted into our bloodstreams through open wounds or mucous membranes.

This infection can lead to severe health complications and risks if left untreated.
