PNP NABS CANADIAN TAGGED IN INTERPOL GREEN NOTICE FOR CHILD S*X ABUSE CASES

The Philippine National Police (PNP), under the leadership of PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., arrested a Canadian national linked to child s*x abuse cases in Thailand and Cambodia and identified as the subject of an INTERPOL Green Notice during a joint law enforcement operation conducted on June 30, 2026, in Barangay Caingin, Sta. The investigation revealed that the Canadian national became the subject of an INTERPOL Green Notice after being linked to several cases involving the s*xual abuse of minors in Thailand and Cambodia. Records showed that he was convicted in Thailand in 2007 for s*xually abusing a male minor and also served a prison sentence in Cambodia for s*xually assaulting male teenagers aged 11 and 14.

Authorities further established that the foreign national had previously faced charges in the Philippines. He was apprehended by the National Bureau of Investigation in 2016 for violating Republic Act No. 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act. In September 2022, he was again charged with the same offense after allegedly s*xually molesting a male minor in Biñan, Laguna.

PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. emphasized that the arrest demonstrates the PNP's unwavering commitment to supporting international law enforcement efforts and ensuring that fugitives involved in serious crimes are held accountable.

NO. 1 REGIONAL MOST WANTED FOR MURDER APPREHENDED IN DAVAO CITY

The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested the No. 1 Regional Most Wanted Person in the Davao Region during a warrant operation conducted on Monday evening, July 6, in Davao City, marking another significant accomplishment in its intensified campaign against wanted persons.

The 32-year-old male suspect was arrested along Cabaguio Avenue, Barangay Agdao Proper, Davao City, by a joint team from the Sta. Ana Police Station Tracker Team, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, and other police support units.

The operation stemmed from the implementation of a Warrant of Arrest for murder issued by a Regional Trial Court in Davao City, with no bail recommended. Authorities said the suspect was informed of the nature of the charge against him and of his constitutional rights.

Isang bagong tahanan at panibagong pag-asa ang naihatid ng Philippine National Police sa mag-asawang senior citizen matapos pormal na maipagkaloob ang kanilang bagong bahay sa Barangay M. Roxas sa Sorsogon noong Hulyo 4.

Nagsimula ang inisyatiba nang matukoy ng R-PSB Team M. Roxas ang kalagayan ng mag-asawa sa isinagawang Needs Assessment Survey (NAS). Mula rito, mabilis na nagtulungan ang mga pulis, mga opisyal ng barangay, mga residente, at mga pribadong indibidwal upang maisakatuparan ang proyekto sa loob ng halos isang buwan sa pamamagitan ng boluntaryong pagbabahagi ng materyales, oras, at lakas-paggawa.

Higit pa sa isang bahay, ang naipagkaloob na tahanan ay naging simbolo ng malasakit, pagkakaisa, at tunay na diwa ng paglilingkod sa komunidad. PNP, FDA CRACK DOWN ON SALE OF UNREGISTERED CONSUMER PRODUCTS IN ISABELA; CHINESE NATIONAL ARRESTED

The Philippine National Police (PNP), under the leadership of Chief, PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., arrested a Chinese national for selling unregistered consumer products during a joint operation with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on July 1, 2026, in Barangay District 1, Cauayan City, Isabela, leading to the confiscation of 937 pieces of assorted aerosol insecticides, mosquito coils, and other consumer products with a total estimated value of ₱100,972.00.

The operation was carried out by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Isabela Provincial Field Unit, together with representatives of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and in coordination with territorial police units.

Arrested was alias “Jin,” a Chinese national, female, and businesswoman-owner of the establishment, who was allegedly caught selling aerosol insecticides and other consumer products without the required Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) issued by the FDA, in violation of Republic Act No. 9711, or the Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009.

Authorities said the confiscated items consisted of assorted aerosol insecticides, mosquito coils, and other consumer products that were not registered with the FDA. Under Republic Act No. 9711, the manufacture, importation, sale, offering for sale, distribution, and transfer of health and consumer products require a valid Certificate of Product Registration to ensure compliance with government standards on safety, quality, and efficacy. The sale and distribution of unregistered products circumvent regulatory safeguards and expose consumers to potential health and safety risks.

PNP ORDERS FULL OPERATIONAL READINESS AMID THREAT OF TROPICAL CYCLONE INDAY

Anticipating the potential effects of Tropical Cyclone Inday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has activated nationwide disaster preparedness measures, directing all Police Regional Offices and field units to strengthen operational readiness and coordinate closely with local authorities to safeguard communities that may be affected.

PNP JUNE ANTI-DRUG OPERATIONS NET 6,085 ARRESTS, ₱435-M DRUG HAUL

PNP APPREHENDS NEARLY 8,000 WANTED PERSONS NATIONWIDE IN JUNE

PNP INTENSIFIES ANTI-CYBERCRIME DRIVE; 30 ARRESTED, 44 CASES FILED

The Philippine National Police (PNP), through its Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG), sustained its intensified campaign against cyber-enabled offenses after recording 30 arrests, filing 44 criminal cases, and securing two convictions in operations conducted from June 26 to July 2, 2026.

The week-long accomplishment included the arrest of 20 individuals by virtue of warrants of arrest and 10 others through entrapment operations. Cases acted upon involved cyber libel, online estafa, and violations of the Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act (AFASA), among other cyber-related offenses.
